I love that a place like this exists! It’s so amazing tho give others the opportunity to get to know horses, specially when they come from a background that makes a mental break/escape like this necessary. I wish there were many other schools like this, I know of none in my area 😢

Esme, I have you to thank for this but just three weeks ago I got in to a lesson barn just outside of my city. Your videos inspire me, and so do you, to keep pushing and never let go of the dreams I have. Even though I don't have many supportive friends or family members you are always there. I am so thankful for that

What an amazing organisation they are! This kind of work is so incredibly important and it's so nice to see so many young people blossoming through this opportunity. If I weren't living in Germany I'd be volunteering right away :D

I love this series I have been to 4 barns and am army fifth and even though I have access I almost haven’t at times becasue of how the equestrian community is starting to just be toxic or all the barns are shutting down and now I’m at a barn that I rlly feel like I fit in and have made friends and everyone welcomed me in the first week or so when at my other barns it took months to even get close to that point and I love to see that these kids are getting this opportunity

Since I imagine that money is probably a huge obstacle for a lot of nine city kids, what is the cost of participating in a program like this? Also it seems as if all of the grooming & tacking up is done before the kids arrive & all they do is get on & ride. Are they ever taught any of the basics of caring for a horse & tacking up? I love that there is access for people who would be unlikely to have access to learning how to ride & who live in a very urban environment.

Esme. This amazes me and makes me so happy. I recently discovered your channel. I was very much like you growing up. I had a friend in primary school who rode and thanks to that I took part in a week programme with ponies riding. Was somewhere in London where I grew up. Unfortunately that was the only exposure I got and definately feel like It could have been my thing. Seeing what you are doing makes me sad and glad at the same time. YOU are awesome my dear. Lia x

I would have a horse except for literally two things. I currently have no job, and it's illegal to keep a horse where I live. And the closest stable is almost 7 miles away and both my parents work, so I'd have to bike, but it's all hills. So biking nearly 28 miles a day would be to exhausting . Otherwise, I'd have a horse
