I'm 52 and i rucked for one month, and then went on a "vacation" i walked 1750 km in the alpes an pyranees in 40 days with 3 rest days. I walked in average 47 km per day, and the last week i had a fracture foot root bone above my big toe, and i still did it.
I have been rucking for about a year now. I wish i had seen this video when I started. Great info and very good suggested schedule. Your bags look awesome as well. Greetings from Spain.
This is really helpful. I’ve used my Wild Gym ruck several times, but I’ve ended up with pain and stiffness in my achilles and ankle. I’m going to use these mobility exercises to avoid that in the future.
Dan, as an avid kettle bell person, can you do a demo of how the Wild Gym Ruck goes with a kettlebell as the load ? Ruck + KB + PM2 and hitting the trail or beach, could you get a batter combo ?
Hey Dan. I had a quick question about the two different ruck pack sizes. In the videos, are you using the small/medium or the large/extra large? Would you be able to do a size comparison between the two for reference? Looking forward to getting started rucking. Thanks.
Hey Wildman! In the video I'm using both sizes, but my go-to is typically the L/XL - especially for heavier Rucks. If you go to the Ruck product page there is a size comparison chart and for sure we will get on a video for that as well. Ruck on! www.wildgym.com/products/rucking-backpack
