Hi Mo, I completed the certificate in 6-weeks by working on it for a couple hours per day. I definitely needed to spend more time on the R sections as that was the most intellectually challenging. I am looking to jump into the Data Analysis world here in Seattle! Question for you, I am putting together my portfolio and resume right now. In your experience, what are the "top 3" technical skills employers are looking for with a data analyst? For example, I have a pretty good understanding of SQL because of this course, but what specific/advanced SQL skills are employers looking to see someone understand prior to hiring them? Thanks Mo! Lately, I really lost track of my journey in Data Analysis because I had so much work at uni. However, I decided to allocate 1hour a day to learn for this certificate. This way, I don't feel guilty and still manage to accomplish something.
Very good idea! It's about the work you put in on a daily basis. Learning data analytics technically is a never-ending journey, so think of it like a marathon rather than a sprint. You won't learn everything by pulling a couple all-nighters -- consistency is key 😁 Good luck man!
