Travel Video 45 - Me & Alok decided to go to Delhi to Mumbai. We planned our trip for 3 days. We did our booking from Amex travel card points. We booked the Airticket of spice jet at Rs. 21500 against the points and we paid no cash for the air tickets. We stayed at my cousin's place for 1 day and then we stayed at the Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
This video is our Third day in Mumbai, We went for Breakfast at the best south Indian restaurant Dakshinayan in Juhu Mumbai. Then we went to Tajmahal Palace which we booked via Amex Voucher. We booked a room in the New Wing of the hotel which was of Rs. 15000 but we paid via Amex voucher which of Rs. 10000 so we just have to pay Rs. 5000 cash for the room.
We also roam around in the Kolaba area as we wanted to attend the Kala Ghoda festival which happens once a year in Mumbai.

Sea Lounge doesnt serve any dinner. Its for snacks and mainly tea. Their tea menu has around 200 tea types. With every chai you order you get freshly baked (still hot) cookies!!

yes its mainly for high tea..but we couldn't make it at tea time..so we went during dinner time and soup & pasta which was very delicious,

sea lounge has a dinner menu however they aren't very famous for it. But the location is worth trying tea or lunch or dinner, whatever anyone can fit into their schedule. How was your experience when you visited, please share for everyones benefit.

Hi stayed in the new wing of hotel in deluxe room..i liked the city view more .. u can take anything above 8th floor that should give good view.

Can 4 members can stay in a single room? How many members are allowed to stay in a single room. Is breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the hotel room price itself or should we order and it is charged separately for room accommodation and breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks Is it 24hrs basis, or morning to morning basis to stay on.

Hi Asha.. room is for double occupancy extra members will chargeable on per basis. Breakfast was included in our room tariff but you should check the inclusions before you book. 2pm check in and next day 12pm check out.

these days if u call the hotel you may get a better deal. I always check prices online first for the room I wish to book, then call up the hotel to give me a better deal. If they r unable to reduce the price, they may offer a complimentary meal or room upgrade. So you must try that and let us know what works for you.

Hi the room tariff was 15000 plus tax for a night. Breakfast is Complimentary & we Paid around 2k for dinner.

Hi.. you can book directly via taj customer care.. I've paid only Rs 5000 for 2 ppl as I used the Amex points coupon which was Rs 10,000. So the total cost is Rs 15000 in the new wing of Taj.

i enjoyed more the city side view.... we wanted to try Mumbai street food so post soup & noodles we also went out for street food as well. One stomach can eat this much only :)
