After soloing the vocal export it as midi then bring the midi back into the session in that kontakt instrument. Would save you 20mins and u still have that texture u originally heard and liked.
Very sick skills…. Whole groove is thick n lush , definitely hear Little Brother / Slum Village on this track…. I’m bout to reinterpolate some very sick vocals 🐣 . Big up for sharing universal gems that maintain/ improve the quality in culture.
yessirr even easier when you know a little bit of theory. like for example it says the sample is in FMinor. after that it’s as simple as knowing the scale degrees and going by ear.
Mine are usually about 2 minutes. If a rapper needs it extended you can always go back and adjust.but for instrumental showcase only I do the main to beat to chorus/Hook twice.then end it. Usually have an intro and outro. It's all depending on how you map it out and bpm. The faster the beat usually the shorter its length.
You should layer the sample underneath for hook with hifi pass filter. Or use it for intro then drop the beat. As far as who i can see rapping on it. Maybe common mos def or talib
