do you really think, deep down in your heart or whatever, that the main audience for a podcast in 2023 is on yt, and not like spotify or apple podcasts or something? also i enjoy it. go find something else you enjoy. im unsure why you even bother commenting on something you dislike

​​@@seashellsally8813RT's main audience is from youtube, and all the older podcasts, even if it's from a different time in internet culture, shows it can be successful. any successful podcast today still uses youtube as a platform because people enjoy the visual element they can come back to, even if the audience is mainly listening rather than watching. nothing wrong with if you enjoy the current content, but if the viewer count of these podcast clips show - the majority of people just don't care for the current RT anymore. RT fell off. even before the fan "Ab Usage" situation, the corporatization of RT was it's downfall. the views are it's proof. no one wants the same format content with an entirely new cast of personalities that they don't have attachment to. and before you say, "oh well they have many other channels and access via other platforms" do you reaaally think that they're even matching the success that this specific channel alone brought in back in it's powerhouse days?

@@androsp9105 they didn’t “move to another sight” the podcast always got bigger numbers on streaming services like Spotify and Apple. I’ve been listening to the old eps because I’ve been a fan since I was a teen in like 2014, and sometimes I miss Bernie, and even back in ep 224 Gus says that their smallest audience is on the RT site, then it’s RU-vid, and the biggest is listeners from streaming services

In order of appearance we have: -Armando was a writer, producer, and on-camera talent, and a bunch of other stuff over at Funhaus before moving to Austin -Griff used to work in Sales, but started their own podcast at RT (No Dumb Answers with Mark and Brad) over lockdown, and has done a bunch more stuff since then. Notably a bunch of shortform content for RT’s socials among other stuff -Andrew was a writer and director for a bunch of RT shorts and RvB PSA stuff Hope that helps
