Looks great, Eileen! I should probably invest in one of these steamers. 💖

Thanks Liz, I like this one because of its tubing making it easy to get the steam right where I want it..Thanks for watching!

Looks great! I steam some of my straight wigs, too. I have the same issue with bangs getting in my eyes. Jamison is my favorite on you!

Thanks Amy, I like Jamison a lot better now that I steamed it out of my face. Thanks for watching!!

Thanks Kathleen, it is fun! I have steamed several of mine that I kept having trouble with the front falling in my face..Jamison was a surprise for me, I didn't think it would look good, but I like it. Isn't it funny how we think a wig won't work for us and then we find out its great? Just one of the great things I love about wigs! Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks for this video. I'm just starting to purchase a few wigs and think this will really help. Can you tell me the type of steamer you use? Everything I see doesn't have the directional tube. Loving your channel!

Hi Susan, I'm so glad you enjoy my channel, I love making these videos! I use the Jon Renau steamer, here is a link..www.wigstudio1.com/collections/hair-care-accessories/products/wig-steamer-by-jon-renau

For me a steamer is a must, for some reason many wigs fall in my face and all they need is alittle steam to make them perfect. Thanks for watching!

I just found you, but you have taught me so much! I’ve been wearing wigs for about 10 years, going from Voltage as my first and to Scorpio as my current. Always red. I have a question. What do you do when you sweat on the back of your neck and it starts to get frizzy? Thanks, keep making videos!
@Crazywiglady

I use a hot air brush (I have a video showing how I use it) to work through the ends of my wigs. Thanks for watching! xoxo

Hi Eileen, I just received Upstage in shaded biscuit (color is a little out of my comfort zone but oh so pretty) Anyway, I spritzed some spray on to keep it off my face. Is it ok to steam it with product in or should I rinse it? I've never steamed a wig before. I just bought a Renau steamer. After watching your video I feel confident. Thank you

Hi; I usually don't stream by wigs with any product on them (I'm not sure if it would hurt them or not) I just normally make sure it is clean before steaming. Thanks for watching! xoxo

Hi Eileen, apologies for commenting on a video that's 4 years old but I wanted to ask you a question with regards to steaming. I just bought the JR steamer and haven't used it yet, I'm quite useless at everything I do so I'm nervous. My Belle Madame Leonora has just started to show signs of raggedy ends, right at the back where the fibres rub against my clothing (which is common of course). As you'd know, Leonora isn't heat friendly and I'm wondering if I steam her ends, should I spray the ends with water first? I do have some Jon Renau Detangling spray but I won't be using that as JR products (shampoo conditioner etc)are NOT good for my wigs, I learnt the hard way about that last year. I use Estetica now and they're much better for me. Sorry for the essay length comment. Steaming my traditional synthetic wigs - spray with water before steaming or not? x
@Crazywiglady
@Crazywiglady Год назад
Hi! Of course the manufactures do not suggest steaming wigs that are not heat friendly, so proceed at your own risk. I however do no add water before steaming. Have a great weekend! xoxo

@@Crazywigladythank you very much. I do have a hot air brush(plastic bristles) perhaps that might be better? You have a lovely weekend too. x

Looks great! What kind of wig stand do you use? The one I have moved and makes it hard to steam.

Hi, thanks for watching, I honestly have never had a HH wig, sorry that I can't help you with a brush option. But I'm sure Andrea at Wigstudio1.com could answer any questions you have, you can contact her through that website, she is a wonderful lady and very helpful. Thanks again for watching..
