Thank you so much for keeping it simple. I've been on youtube for almost 2 hours looking for an easy way to do it and you did it.

@@PermacultureHaven unfortunately you can NOT sterilize them without boiling for 10 -15 min. or putting them to the oven. This way would be very dangerous to keep caned product untill winter even in the refrigerator

How did the jars not break if you poured hot water in them? Just bought some and wouldn’t like them to shatter
@PermacultureHaven
@PermacultureHaven 4 года назад
Usually they only brake if you change the premature very quickly, from hot to cold and vice versa. You can start slowly and pour just little hot water, then nothing should happen.

@@kccasey6410 I couldn't understand what you said before the ending sorry :(

This is very dangerous. First, the jars were not sterilized. Second, the lids should not be re-used. Third, she used the tongs on the lids touching the INSIDE of the lid with them.

Kitchen drain is dirtiest place in house, pour some bleach or Clorox in drain first before washing jars.

It sure looks simple but dangerous as well. It is not sterilization at all. Why do you think other people do the hard way?
