Agreed, 50+years ago (I was about 10) most of the music was new, cover musicians didn't have decades of music catalog. Young musicians today have so much more to choose from for covers bringing their version to new generations and letting this old guy enjoy memory lane.

This song has always made me emotional, it is such a perfect combination of meaning and sound. I've always found it so powerful and soothing, (even before hearing Paul McCartney report in an interview that he had written it as he had woken up after dreaming of his late mum whom had spoken to him the reassuring words 'let it be'...) Thanks Paul for sharing these memories and what came out of it with the world, and thanks to all the talented singers that keep practicing Let it be's magic wonders long after it was written.

Loved this version of one of the top songs of all time by the Beatles. Allie and Daniele are great together. She is young and kind of intense, so this kind of contemplative, mystical song is perhaps not her forte. Beautiful. Loved it.

Love hearing Allie’s occasional mis pitches. That means it’s her real vocals. Tremendous!!!!! If you don’t hear miss pitch than it’s electronically junk.
