Your videos have helped me heal from long covid. Now I know covid was the trigger, but I suffered for many years before covid from unresolved trauma, what they call cptsd, from a 15 year abusive marriage. My nervous system was shot! These techniques you so generously share are helping me recognize and change my automatic trauma reactions, which is also resolving the physical symptoms. Thanks so very much!

Thank you sharing your story. I can very much relate to the mall scenario. I would also have these attacks at the grocery store and would leave a cart full of grocery behind because I couldnt breath and had to get outside. I know people probably view me as lazy and I wish they could see me 20 years ago full blown type A, working 2 jobs, and taking care of 2 young children. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was a car accident wiyh physical injury...never really got back to my previous self. As a woman, it was frustrating getting diagnosed. For many years, doctors would simply say "your depressed" ignoring everything else going on. Even now, some doctors have called it CFS and others called it fibromyalgia in addition to other physical ailments... I stumbled upon your channel and find your videos and life experiences incredibly validating. Much thanks and gratitude.💜

Literally I got to the point of saying “worst thing that will happen is that wherever I am I will get so tired I need to stop what I’m doing and sleep right there” and although I’ve been VERY tired, I never have gotten to that point, it started small with going to family birthday events but I have progressed to longer, full day activities like going to the zoo or a market with a friend

Miguel, you are describing my and my son’s experience after mold. Seriously hyper vigilant. I hope you will do a video on anxiety and suicidal thoughts. I have never had suicidal thoughts ever but I had them during CFS. I was up for 10 days with only 30 min naps. Every sound felt like a threat. Once we moved away from the mold, we slowly got relief from this but the psychological symptoms was the longest lasting symptoms for me.

It is so crazy, i really love hearing all your stories and they always have to do with symptoms like shortness of breathe or heart palpitation, and you telling that you get out of Pizza Restaurant because of a "panic/anxiety attack". Intersting is that i know that from anxiety disorder means you can have a panic attack without paying for it but in cfs the brain gets again the information of danger and it did not make you crash it did not put you in bed again. You had all these crazy near 50 symptoms but it seems energy was never your problem. For me all different the few symptoms i have are not severe. If i stand up my pulse is going to 160 i do not care, but in the Opposite of you, i cannot do anything because no energy. If i "only" had symptoms i could live my life even with a lot of discomfort, but like others my battery is flat no more energy there. If i did only a little bit to much, means 20 seconds more in bathroom, i am feeling totally exhausted the Day after. And i know that i M not the only one who has struggles with energy but it seems for you energy, i am not talking about fatigue, were never a Problem and that is so confusing for me. For me in person it would be so much easier only having a lot of symptoms instead of having no energy. I ever hope you can make a Video about energy from the Perspektive the people you are worked im your program. Because you often said, that when symptoms decreases energy comes up. I had times near without symptoms and still cannot get out of bed. My stomach is aching if i walk a few steps because it is so exhausting and that gets worse and worse i am feeling weaker and weaker without having more symptoms. That is strange right? My body is really exhausted from all the stress and it will not set me free besides i have symptoms or Not. I do not understand that.

@@cfsrecovery Yeah but i do not mean fatigue i mean exhaustion no energy. I remember you said you cannot lift your hands up because of pain. Maybe i misunderstood that. Then you got the Medication and you could. And yes i saw pictures of you, you shared them, getting spoon fed but in the same picture your body was with the bed in a higher Position. My body is not even tollrrate that only lying flat 😢. I only asked because i wanted to know how can i get the energy. And yes i know that you said in one Video the analogy with the bucket and the water. I am not in worry, i am not anxious in my mind, but allthough i have not that energy. And i remember a Video too, where you said that fati is the last thing that will go away, the other symptoms going first. That was a big Video of feeling fatigued but not exhausted.

This was a great video, really resonate and feels good to know thus is actually normal(well as in other ppl besides me are working thru this 🙏) i definitely see the whole "looking for a escape route" thing for so soo many situations -not necessarily glaringly obvious but i definitely do it and have been aware if this and tryingto work thru it w brain retraining. Miguel, it seems like from this videos u just applied the knowledge u had learnt from ur doctor and logically tellig urself reassuring things when these fear thoughts would come up ?-like i want to go on a mini road trip w a best friend for a couple days to visit another friend, all of whom are super supportive(something old me would have loved to do) but i have this feeling that ur talking about where im worried "what if i start feeling really unwell on the drive, or need to rest heaps when i get there or cant get thru this in a calm way if it does happen, and kinda lookingfor escape route but feels like there isnt the availabilityfor one on a road trip w othr ppl😅" -like what do u suggest here?-just talking to your brain logically ? 🙏

For over a year now. I think it began when I had my first panic attack while walking outside which was caused by me checking my heart rate and noticing it‘s „too high“. I was working with an physiotherapist who is specialised on people with ME/CFS and according to him the heart rate should not be higher than 110, but mine was 120

My constant fear is to get severe like you and end up in ICU or dying. That’s the constant fear I have for years. I didn’t know this could actually happen too. Plus I fear hospitals because around here they are pretty bad, especially for eating. You practically cannot eat for hours at the ER up to even 12 hours yet I have to watch what I eat and eat often. I also get severe apnea and have a CPAP when it gets bad. Having this at the hospital as they dismiss my symptoms is what worries me.

I have ADHD and I am similar in that i get hypersemsitive and hypervigilance but theres also mistrust of other people. I feel clausterphobic if i am stuck on a crowded subway, domt like when strangers look for too long. The last time i was on the metro i was nercous because i saw someone wearing some sort of gas mask and i thought of the worst case scenario that he had a chemical and was going to use it while he protects himself. My psychiatrist says it is paranoia but non delusional. They are mostly feara but I am not entirely convinced of my suspicions. I have a lot of anxiety as well. I mistrust medication so I'm afraid of serious side effects of medication.

Did you get the feeling where your movements were affected like say you try to do something with your hands but your nervous system feels like it wants to freeze and its super overwhelming to make simple movements with your hands. I would feel alarms thru my whole body like a spidey sense urging me not to do something and this is at home like washing dishes so it was physical no reason to have the fight or flight on. In my mind im like what’s going on with my body literally feels like my nervous system could not handle any stress or simple movement. Im much better now but yeah it was rough.

@victorcontreras6681
@victorcontreras6681 2 месяца назад
@@cfsrecovery for about 6 months. Initially this is what started my crash. It almost feels like my sugar levels drop and i get a wave of overwhelming exhaustion in my nerves and my movements just feel very hard to do its very overwhelming when i try to work.Like my body wants to put me in freeze mode. Have you heard of this before ? My nervous system is hypersensitive for sure as i have muscle twitches and i feel like im plug into a electrical socket. Most my issues started after covid and got worse and now have made some improvements in other symptoms and sleep. But this is the one that is super debilitating when it hits. Im guessing maybe to much physical activity or stress on the nervous system.

@godloves9163 14 дней назад
@@victorcontreras6681I have this often during months of crashes. It is scary. I also have breathing issues and almost feel buzzed or something when going outside. Sleep is horrible and end of nights / early mornings are horrible too. Especially the very loose stools.
@victorcontreras6681
@victorcontreras6681 14 дней назад
@@godloves9163 so i have improved somewhat from when i posted on here last month. Its definitely a nervous system stuck in fight or flight and its releasing alot of adrenaline thats why you get the over stimulation i feel like the crashes can come after releasing so much adrenaline as well. My sleep is much better im down to 1-2 bad nights a week and this also is due to the adrenaline issue. The high feeling is dpdr which i had for few months, now i just get waves. Still feel high sometimes but it disappears. Im definitely on the healing side but im 100 percent okay with symptoms and know its a matter of time before i heal. Pretty much just following brain retraining with exposure and responding well during my clashes or flares ups.
