How can I explain this to my family. Yesterday me and my family had an argument about buying books because I bought more books , 5 were sci fi and 2 were thrillers. My family is saying that you shouldn't waste your time on story books. I am tired of explaining them advantages of reading books , specially if you are preparing for UPSC exam . But I have found an escape of buying and reading my novels . They can't catch me ... 😃
A few days ago there was a book fair in my city. Where you can get a small size box of 1200 rupees and load as many books as you can in that box. I crammed 12 books in that box, so on an average I bought 12 books with ₹100 each. One of those books were orginal hardcover (not pirated) of Remarkably Bright Creatures which costs for 1800-2000 on Amazon. It was a great deal. Not all books were original. Some were original. Some were pirated. But overall I liked the quality of all the books. 1. Remarkably Bright Creatures 2. Life of Pi 3. Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and other stories 4. Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. (Added this because of hunger games) 5. रावणपुत्र मेंघनाथ - केविन मिसल 6. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 7. The Five People you Meet in Heaven 8. to 12. Five books by Roald Dahl
In this month I bought many books and now my bank balance is almost zero. So I thought I wasted my money but after watching your video I think I haven't done anything wrong 😅😅
Where would we be in life without the basic necessities and books to enjoy. I also like to keep a journal of thoose that I have done and donate a few every so often. ❤ Health 😊Happiness 😂Books.
Hate that my mom won't like me buying more books this year. According to her, rn I should be reading books covering topics of exams like upsc etc. She also doesn't understand good fiction 😂
I clicked the video to see if you were actually going to say to stop buying books so that I could say 'you can go on with it, but I'm going to buy books no matter what'😂😂
Well...I clicked on the video to let u know that...that's not possible for me..I just love buying books as much as I love reading them...totally relate to the fact that a house is not a house without books..though I have many unread books but the love we share is so pure..

I love books but have a very limited space at home so I try to keep only the best gems and rest keep in some public book case or a library. Like this way books are rotating and I am not the only end user.
I am very new to book reading genre before this I used to read manga but now I want to try something new which gets me hooked immediately like AOT so pls suggest me a book which has badass characters , interesting plot , mind blowing twist and turns etc
Absolutely worth it. In fiction you see the world (real or fake) with perspective of other authors/characters/narrators. Reading Fiction is like increasing your "experience". If you don't read fiction, you only have experience from your own perspectives. A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one. - George R. R. Martin
If you haven't read hundreds of books, you are functionally illiterate, and you will be incompetent, because your personal experiences alone aren't broad enough to sustain you. - Jim Mattis
