So I watched your video tutorial about how to stop lipstick from bleeding. After watching I decided to give the syn wax a try. It arrived late in the afternoon after I already had put my lipstick on but I decided to try it right over my lipstick. So far it's good. However, I was surprised at how hard the wax was to work with. So I tried a few things to soften it. First I used my hairdryer to warm it up and soften it a little. Then I warned up the little spatula too. Works great, but you have to work fast as it cools quickly. Next I tried it on my eyebrows. I already use a brow type mascara on them as they are getting a little thin and don't stay in place all day. Well, this keeps my brows perfectly, including a nice arch. Then I realized how hard & difficult this syndrome wax was to get off. I had an idea that using a few drops of oil would help. Whaalaa - works perfectly. No tugging, scrubbing, rough washing. And in fact I didn't even have any oil except a bottle of Redken Frizz Dismiss hair oil to use, but it was great. No harsh tugging & pulling to get the syn wax off. I even used it to clean the wax off the spatula. I hope these tips help out others who are just starting to use it.
I just got my wax in the mail with a spatula, EXTREMELY hard and sticky. Guess that is the secret. I have a brush coming soon I hope as it seems that will be a bit easier. Question for all - do you apply anything over the wax? It is so sticky seems odd to go around with a sticky goo on your face for the day. Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
Hi Michele, I bought the wax and the little brow brush from Amazon. I use a clear lip liner then apply the wax as you said. I was amazed how the wax blended and did not feel hard on the skin. I wore red lipstick two days trying the wax out. I loved it. Thank you for all your tips.
@@maturemakeupmasterclassI was wondering my top and bottom braces and headgear are making my lips extremely dry and cracked would that wax work on my dry lips? Thank you ur great
This video is a game-changer! I noticed the ELF brow wax stick at CVS & bought it to try after seeing this. Worked perfectly. I haven’t worn lipstick in over 2 years. I have angular chi elitist that reoccurs frequently on the corners of my mouth and makes lipstick run. This worked great. Thanks you!
I didn’t think ELF would work but for 3 bucks I purchased it put on my red lipstick 💄 and I am amazed how good it’s working it’s been 5 hours and it’s perfect !
I’ve binged your videos so many times. First seeing you on TikTok. I love how you teach and how personal you are about aging skin. I’ve always been a makeup junkie and have been struggling trying to find new products that don’t look cakey and cover. Thank you, thank you…don’t ever stop. ♥️
A year later and your video found me and helped me even now! I've been struggling and so upset over not being able to wear most any color of lipstick/gloss. Found this video & can't wait to order the wax. Thank you. 55 year old great GlamMa. 🥰😁👄💄💋
Thank you for your tips. You explain things so well and complete. I just discovered you and I will binge all your videos! Thank you. I am 70 so I need all the help I can get!
Thank you for this tip!! OMG, what a game-changer!! I’m ordering the wax next, but had to thank you first 😊 I think you are, by far, the best MUA on social media today. Thanks for everything you share about makeup, products, and life in general… YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and a wonderful teacher!!
Thank you for the lovely video’s. You are a good teacher and a beautiful lady. I have always been tempted to use red lipstick but worried about the bleeding. I am a trans female and your tips really help me. Thank you
Wow. Thank you for a life changing tip. I got so excited, but I don't have the wax that you mentioned. But imitidly ran to my bathroom, and there I found my Anastasia brow freez. It works!!!👏👏so until I find the wax you used(difficult to find in Norway)i'am using what I have. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart❤️❤️❤️👍
What an awesome video....literally an answer to something I have been struggling with recently. Ordered both products. Thank you, and as always, you look so pretty in this video!
Tried this and the wax really dried out the area where my lip wrinkles are- making them look even worse! Maybe it’s because I’m on several antihistamines that are already making my skin dry- I don’t know. Sad it didn’t work for me.
I came into work today & didn’t realize my lipstick was bleeding until I glanced in the mirror. This is the first video that came up- great advice, thanks!
This is genius!! For me this wax trick eliminates my fine lines above my lips eliminates them completely. Maybe I needed some kind of filler but the fence/barrier creates is genius!! Never would have thought to use Morticians wax but Makes sense
You are amazing!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I can tell you how horrible it is to get up and find lipstick running in every nook and cranny! Keep giving us these wonderful tips!!
This was a fantastic find 😊 I have such trouble with lipstick bleeding that I’ve nearly given up but have immediately ordered this wax and fingers crossed that I’ll get back into wearing all my beautiful coloured lipsticks ❤
Daily 5 times stretch ears up down rotate revolve with fingers gently, tightens face muscles lifting skin upwards. Massage lips with any oil upward direction with fingertips tips ,massage upward on face neck to avoid wrinkles hanging sagging skin near lips .
I love your eye makeup, would love a tutorial on that:) Thanks for all you tips! Been being diligent with my skin care and I’m seeing a difference in my skin. I can now where a bb cream or tinted moisturizer instead of foundation (which l don’t like on me) and it actually looks pretty good! 😊
Thank you so much. I'm 75 and I always wear lipstick........that bleeds and drives me crazy! I have the products on order (love Amazon) and can't wait to use this tip. I try very hard not to look my age with chemical peels etc. Bleeding lipstick is the worst tell all!
Incredible! I've been mourning the loss of that benefit product since they discontinued it. And it was the only thing I could keep lipstick on with. Thank you so much for this -- I believe I used to put just a tiny bit of loose powder over it through a single sheet tissue, if anyone wants to try that. I can't thank you enough -- only an artist would realize what sort of wax it was. Cheers!
I 'm a first time viewer and I 'd like to thank you for this video and let you and your audience know that rite aid sells a little silicone brow brush that I think would work perfectly. It looks exactly like the brush you were showing.
I love your videos! I'm a 63 year old makeup junkie! I was a makeup artist many years ago. This is such a brilliant tip! It works so well! I bought the wax and brush! Thank you Michelle!
@@maturemakeupmasterclass You are do real and really a joy to watch! I love your Demi and Seint videos the French way!! All for that most days but sometimes can't help being a bit more! 🙂
Thank you for this great tip, I had stopped using lipstick altogether because of the bleeding within a few minutes, now I'm going back to wearing lipstick using this tip!!! Question, you say it's hard to remove, so what do I use to remove it or how do I remove it from my face?
Hi Michele .I use the Mehron wax and it works, but I have a litle puffiness under my lower lip and it tends to look white to me. I do not want to put lipstick any lower. Can anything be done so it does not look so white after appling the wax? I do use a little clear lipliner before the wax.
Thank you very much for the tip! It works. Another question dear: every bluebased red lipstick look so dark on my lips. Do you have also a tip for me? Many greetings from Austria. 👍🌹
So glad you're back. Can you do a frownies update? are you still using? I saw your screen shot of your video and something is dif on your face and I love how honest and up front you are, but what's dif? Your frownies video from May you mentioned considering doing some treatments. Have you done any? Thank you for being so honest and real.
I usually use the ELF eyebrow was pencil around my lips, but it doesn't work that well against lip gloss bleeding. I need to try the Mehron. Thank you!
Okay, realize I'm a couple of years late to the game - this was filmed in 2021 : ) But I would imagine you have to put the wax on OVER your foundation - otherwise your foundation wouldn't stick. Am I correct? Also, liked the comment below re: using Elf eyebrow was. I am going to try that first.
Great video. I received my Mehron Syn Wax from Amazon yesterday and am excited to try it. Unfortunately your Benefit hard angled eyebrow brush is $50. Canadian on Amazon and that is way too pricey for me. I will look around as I think I would prefer the brush than the spatula. Thanks for sharing.
Girrrl u put us up on game‼️Thia info is a game changer!! TY❣️🙌 I'm def ordering this wax. I'm just past my mid 40's and the feathering struggle is so real 🙄 Lately I've been searching high and low for that magic lip liner that won't feather until I found this video. I'm super excited to try this wax technique!
I’m 59yo. I don’t wear makeup but like to wear lipstick. I’m gonna try this product, so I’ll write a review later. My question is, do you have to use a lip liner?
I’m looking forward to more Masterclass videos. I actually like the front camera best, with maybe occasional back camera. I’ve ordered Demi with you in the past so I’m also looking forward to more Demi info. Once again info!
Will this still work if I add a plumping gloss on top of my lipstick? I have Urban Decay 24/7 liner, Huda Beauty liquid matte and a Buxom plumping lip polish.
so I watch this video, and I finally got everything in, but there is something that I did change instead of doing the liner first, especially with red lipstick when I did it the first time the wax didn’t go up in the areas that I needed and like within a few hours, my lips bleed I watched another video where the lady took the primer, and before she line her lips, she not only did a line with the lip primer that she also went up and down the vertical lines of her lips so that way it would help prevent it from feathering, so what I did is I took off, started all over. I went ahead prime my lips then I took the wax before the lip liner, and I lined it out and then I took the brush and went up and down the vertical lines were there was creases, and then I line my lips and added the red and hours later there was a little spot that I missed where it feathered but I ate broccoli and beef for dinner. I had a glass of wine and when I went to go check my lips afterwards my lipstick is still on. There is no feathering and it’s probably been about two hours since I put the wax on so yeah it does work but that’s the key is to do the wax before you line your lips least that worked for me
I ordered the Mehron Syn Wax from Amazon. The jar arrived unwrapped, as in no tamper-proof wrapping. I sent it back. Do you think this was just a mistake? Did your jar arrive to you sealed?? I love your videos and have purchased many products you have recommended. Thanks.
Hi, Michelle! Following your tutorial I ordered the wax on Ebay. I got it today and realized that I had ordered the regular Mehron wax instead of the Synwax. Have you tried it?, in that case, can you get the same result than using the Synwax?? Thank you!!
Hi Michelle I can't thank you enough. I have wanted a season match for years. In the 80s it was so popular. I always feel I am a winter but to tell the truth sometimes I feel washed out in too cool a color . I will be collecting all my info in the next day or so . God bless ❤😊
So grateful for this video… Let bleeding is all new for me I've never had lip wrinkles but I recently got false teeth and now I have lip wrinkles and I am a lipstick girl ...it is driving me nutty
Thanks for this video. I started to watch this and thought, “surely they have this in pencil form somewhere!” Did a quick search and found Dr. Hauschka’s translucent lip liner to prevent bleeding. I hope you try it and give it a review for us! It’s a natural skincare line. I tried their foot cream in Massachusetts and it is wonderful! Milani also has an anti-feathering pencil.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is the first video that actually has a solution that I believe will work. I’m 63 and am hanging on with both hands trying to keep up a appearance and constantly battling those fine feathery lip lines. I’m so excited to use this -going straight to Amazon to buy.
