How to Stop My Baby Alexandrine Parrot Parakeet Bird from Biting Me! 

They make a lot of noise ,and if you're a begginer with parrots i recommend an Indian Ringneck or a cockatiel and not an Alexandrine Parrot , cockatiels are awesome ,i own 3 of them. They dont shout they only sing about 3 times a day for 3 or 5 minutes and they dont disturb my neighbours. I also own an Indian Ringneck and he's not making as much noise as an Alexandrine would do ,he only shouts 3 times a day and not very loud ,easy to tame, very friendly and is a good talker

Hi it took a few weeks, but we got there in the end. The important thing is not to get frustrated or hit the parrot. You must block the bit with your palm. Your parrot will become comfortable with you, just a matter of time.

Hi, first thing we taught Hapi was to step onto our fingers and when he did we would reward him. Next we let him step on with one foot shake it and let go. We carried on whilst saying handshake.. he soon got the gist of it. And again reward.

He has lots of veggies, fruits, parrot mix, limited nuts as they are fatty.

Yay thx for heart,but I need her to stop biting.Shs makes clicking noises (tck tck) in the morning,she sits in the dark and eats food.When I wanna stroke her,she jumps to bite me.but she does calmy sit on my shoulder.I don't know what to do!!!Even though we spent approx.£106.90 on her cage, accessories and toys🤔🤔😶😕🙃😲🙄😫

Oh dear! Yes Hapi used to bite us too. Don’t show fear and treat your bird when he does step on your finger. It’s take a little patience and effort to train them but I’m sure it will happen.

@@HapitheAlex it doesn't sit on my fingers,it sits on my shoulder.She don't come out of the cage anymore.This morning,I went to her and put my finger near her,she tried biting.Also,I'm a kid I don't want her tobite.5 mins ago,she was sitting with all of her feathers fluffed up and she stared at me.In our country it's very cold but we give her a nice home with a radiator behind the cage🤗Plz tell me what to do if I'm a kid.Lastly,how do I get her to get out of the cage and since how do I stop her if I'm a kid!Most of the times,she ain't in a good mood because it's cold.

Bird feel attacked with objects above them. You have to gently pet them with a keyword so they know what about to happen. When petting Hapi we say “nice nice” just to let him know we are about to touch his head and he is ok with that

It probably frightens him or her. Make sure your parrot is comfortable enough for you to do that.

Hapi The Alex he is really comfortable with me like like he knows I’m not a threat and normally won’t bite but he just throws in a few hard ones but trying to cover his face he still bites bit harder
