Wow. Perfect timing! Started this mind body journey for chronic dizziness back in August 2023. Saw huge improvement, I feel like I’ve been in a dip since April and it feels like I’m back at square one. Thank you for sharing. ❤

I've had PTSD for 39 years .... debilitating panic attacks... also developed agoraphobia where I was pretty much housebound. I could leave my house but not go off the property. And like almost all people with any anxiety disorder, I had IBS-D... and the chronic "D" part of the IBS turned into a fear of pooping - an actual phobia. Every time I felt the need, my body would go into a full-blown panic attack... which made me more agoraphobic ... etc etc. After only 3 weeks of hearing about this mind-body stuff, my pooping phobia (sounds so ridiculous but it was so real and so debilitating) is gone. Now I can poop when I have to like a normal person without having a stage-4 meltdown. The diarrhea is gone too. I still have anxiety but I haven't had a panic attack in 3 weeks AND I've been able to leave my home and make it as far as 1/2 mile away from my home on foot, which sounds like not much but when you're pretty much housebound agoraphobic, that's HUGE progress. I'm feeling a little pissed off that in 39 long years, not one doctor or therapist told me about the mind-body connection of PTSD. They made it sound like I suddenly developed a chronic debilitating mental illness that was "resistant to treatment" when all the medication, talk therapy, CBT and exposure therapy, etc etc didn't work. They don't know how to treat it so they label the previous labels they give us "resistant to treatment".

I’m glad your doing better. I have stomach issues, thought I had IBS and have trouble pooping due to rectocele. I hope it can get better as I have gotten so much better with my fear of pooping. It’s still there but so much better. Glad you are doing better too and didn’t listen to those Drs saying treatment resistant. Our minds are powerful. I have mental health and physical issues. But this concept has helped me big time 😊

That lake looks and sounds perfect … My homeopath reminded me that I was suffering from progress amnesia yesterday! Two years ago I was living on our couch, drugged to the eyeballs with pain meds. I still have pain, I still take pain meds but at half the dose I used too. I’ve been working part time in what can be at times, a demanding job. I do forget how far I’ve come and it’s great to be reminded. Thanks Dan 👍🏻

I have gone from being bedridden, to taking care of my granddaughters (4and 6) doing chores again, going on outings, gardening. I have my life back. Things aren’t perfect and I use my tools daily. I’m doing so much better once learning about PFP and TMJ and watching these videos. Thanks for doing this for free Dan. I am in debt from going to Drs chafing diagnosis. Now I only go to my psych for guidance during my benzo taper. Unless I get Sick where I need meds or something, which I rarely, rarely do. If o do get sick it’s not too bad. Grateful.

I am also on benzos on a small amount each day of 9 mg of diazepam and I'm wondering if you think that being on the benzos has had any impact on your nervous system or is it just my fear of the fact that I'm taking them having an impact 🙏
@naturegirl4074
@naturegirl4074 21 день назад
@@robynwinter-blick9697 9 mg is not considered a small amount nowadays. It may have affected you. I wouldn’t worry too much about it but if you’ve been on it a long time chances are it’s probably not working and your body is probably addicted to it. It’s called tolerance withdrawal. But if you do decide to wean off definitely do it under the care of the doctor because it needs to be done very slowly. I actually started before. But I did look at guidelines from the Ashton Manual

Your progress report is like a game of snakes and ladders in that when you re-read the "wins" it's like you've landed at the foot of that giant ladder that ffwds you back from whence you came 😄🏆

Wow you have beavers happily splashing in your presence what an honour. Yellow today, suits you too!! So needed to hear this today & have actually been noticing that I am doing more of this evidence recall, especially since the latest few days have appeared a bit "sticky". It has been a life-line to hang onto & knowing how the brain works, it's also strengthening the new pathways. Thank you as always kind sir. Enjoy the beauty.💗

I had a tough morning but carried on throughout the day with chores, gym and shopping - I found a bus to take me to and from the gym which is a mile and I took it today and felt much better than tryin to walk it - they gym is easy but the one mile walk to and from the gym was very very draining and difficulit.

I definitely get progress amnesia in life in general tbh. About 2 years ago, I actually did make a "list of wins" that I have on my desktop. I actually display a lot of courage in life, but I still beat myself up at times.

You get to a point where you get frustrated and try to fix when there’s nothing to fix. In my opinion it’s bc it goes on for a while. So we desperately want it to go away when the key is to keep letting things be and not letting it be #1

Do you get stressed out? Sometimes my throat gets tight when I’m stressed out. Drinking tea with honey will help and then getting to the root of that stress :-) I love to sing also even though I’m not like professional I also have CFS and wonder how professional singers get around symptoms. What’s your take on hyper mobility, MCAS and histamine intolerance?. It can affect immune system. I know I have some degree of hyper mobility not sure about the rest. I may even have Dermatographism which is linked to MCAS/immune response as an allergic reaction to pressure on the skin. I believe in TMS but wonder if these are linked to fear or not.
