Use braided (not clear, looks like string) 25 lb test. Wrap line around 1 time and then triple knot it, then super glue the knot. Don't wrap it multiple times with 1 knot, because when it breaks it's going to shit whip the string like a whip and tear your body or something more important up. Wrap it multiple times, just tie multiple strings. So if 1 breaks, the rest of the strings will be fine. Really want to get fancy, cover the string in shoe goo, then wrap and tie. It coats the already super strong line with a rubber like coating almost making it part of the tire. Wish everyone an amazing day, may you all thrash, and bash for hours without breaking anything, Amen.
Just tried using sewing string.it works without snapping and is waaaaay more concealed.i can't even tell it's on my tires.thanks for the idea.subscribed!
I had never heard of the duct tape trick. I may have to do that before my Turbo Aero does it’s speed run. 7800kv motor installed! Building some custom shocks and awaiting a 2S battery that fits in the stock battery compartment.
@@JacobusRC got bored waiting on parts, did a static run and the tire ballooned too much, touched the carpet and actually pulled the collar off the press fit axle. Just taped up the tires, reassembling the axle, and giving it a shot.
I just saw your video of it... man that thing looks like it goes quick HOLY. I have a Grasshopper which is basically like the turbo aero that went 26mph, wondering how quick you can push it
I was lucky because I had abut 10 equal gaps all the way across and round on each rear tyre so it stayed really even and bearly inflated, I would use thin strong metal wire next time because the fishing wire does fray quite quickly
