I'll be trying this tip today. Always wondered about using shadow primer under the eyes. I trust your tips as a professional and I love how you turn everything we thought we were supposed to do inside out and it works every time! Drugstore concealers I love are Maybelline instant age rewind and Maybelline dream lumi in Radiant. Kat von D lock it (very creamy) and Laura Geller the real deal concealer (dryer formula, serious coverage). Josie Maran argan oil as a moisturizer. Sorry for the long comment. I finally tried maybelleine's instant age rewind concealer in the neutralizer shade, which is a very pale yellow-based concealer, & the coverage and texture is phenomenal! It has VERY good coverage and is not caky whatsoever, very very smooth. I'm so glad I decided to finally try it, pretty much everyone who's tried it loves it so is highly recommend it if you're in the market for a drugstore concealer for the undereye!

Wow I just tried this tip and it works! I used urban decay primer potion in Eden and then maybelline instant age rewind concealer in brightener on top with a touch of Rimmel stay matte pressed powder to set. Thank you Wayne for this!!!!! xo

holy shit, this actually works. I only have a cream concealer, so I just used that, with a bit of powder on top. But I made sure to apply as much moisturizer as I could under my eyes, like he said. And my concealer lasted so much longer, and there was much less creasing. Im happy I tried this. It really works.!

GOSS NO WORD OF A LIE today I was stood looking in the mirror and noticed under my eye was dry, had creased and looked awful. (I use double wear foundation in Amber Honey and Mac pro longwear concealer in NC45). Since getting home I was searching for tips on Google and this came up!! Perfect timing. Thank you so much. Your previous tip of using setting spray works wonders. I pat it over the top of concealer and then use setting spray on a brush to apply light bit of powder. Concealer I always go back to is Maybelline Age Rewind.

I'm 44 and have darkness and bags. After years of trial and error I finally found a combination that works. I use the IT cosmetics corrector after of course moisturizing and priming, then I use Macs studio fix concealer over that and then powder. I must say it honestly, honestly works for me! Thank you for all the wonderful tips and tutorials, you are the best!

Maybelline dark circle concealer amazing! Garnier dark circle roller ball...this doesn't cake even if you apply overt powder and brightens things up..amazing! I have never powdered and, in fact, add a drop of oil to hydrate, moisten but, I don't mind touching up mid day. This method worked great, the tip on applying multiple applications of eye moisturizer is definitely the key to those of us with dry skin and a few fine lines.

Great drugstore undereye concealer: Maybelline DreamLumi Highlighting Concealer. Also Maybelline Instant Age Rewind and NYX HD. Best drugstore undereye setting powder comes from ELF. Comes in a teeney tiny ridiculous little jar, but costs like 3 dollars and you only need a little and works INCREDIBLY well. Dupe for a high end setting powder.

I am sooo happy someone finally make this video! I'm in my early thirties and just started getting eye wrinkels the last couple of years. I have a, thankfully, young face, but my eyes are starting to give me away. I've emailed and commented on others channels about how to change up my makeup routine to fit my changing skin. Most of these channels are for younger viewers. I got to the point that I felt lost, like giving up on makeup. Seeing this has really made my day! a lot of RU-vidrs were doing the "Audible" video last year. I only JUST realised after almost six months that they have been taking $16 per month out of my account. only ever signed up for the 30 day free trial. The problem was I didn't cancel after 30 days. if you do this you gotta remember to go ahead and mark it in your calendar to cancel it. I have been $16 a month and I only got one book last year some time that i thought was "free" SNEAKY SNEAKY AUDIBLE!!!

I've been waiting for a great tip on this because I have this problem along with the very dark under eye. It's so difficult when you're over 50 to have this area look good. Dear Mr. Wayne, this is my first time on your awesome website. I have not been able to get excited about putting on makeup for several years now because it made me look like a much older hag then I really am. Lots of creases & made my wrinkles look more like canyons. Some deep enough that if it was remotely possible, Mr. Evel Knievel might want to do one of his death defying jumps over 'em. About a year ago, I expressed this to a girlfriend of mine & that was the 1st time I was turned on to a sponge or foundation brush. I don't live in a bubble but was so far gone away from my makeup routine. Thank you so much for sharing your talents & after watching your videos, I am confident that with a little practice, I will be much more confident & my self-esteem should be getn back to where it was before the Fall and Winter of 2011. So many comments already, I wonder if mine will make any point or purpose anymore, but felt like sharing. This video was awesome, since I've been struggling with products creasing into my fine lines (I have eye bags when I'll smile or half close my lids). I've half tried this technique already before the vid, disappointed, now started re-experimenting actively 1-3 times a day, crying and kicking myself, pushing to try the best combinations of eye cream (absorbed too much after serval layers it'll look dry, adding on top will push the concealer away), primer potion (chance of creasing), concealer (Bobbi's corrector and the duo cover kit) and powder (too little will crease, too much and you'll have dry patches like no other). Bobbi was a recent expensive purchase of mine, and I'm desperate to get it work, though now I see liquid would do better on my dry skin. The dry patches are almost instant, unavoidable and looks like I have a skin disease. Today, however, I felt just great - with no touchups: Tabbed eye cream in my skincare routine, plus a little bit before applying make up, primer potion sparingly, and working somewhat quickly and paying attention I didn't add too much - tabbed gently corrector and concealer (creamy-ish Bobbi kit) with a flat eyeshadow brush, then tabbed the kit's powder with a blending brush. Seeing this wasn't enough and started to show a chance of creasing, I added Missha BB cream with my ring finger and powder a bit more heavy handedly. Biyuutiful! It's been about 11 hours now and still looking good, only tiny bit product in my lines if I stretch the skin lately. Please apply the foundation on the top like W says - for me I think this was the key element ! Sounds a fair amount of work, but today I was faster and out of the door much quicker than usually - without all the touchups and tears needed. ♡

BLOODY BRILLIANT!!! I tried this morning and the results are spectacular. I look like Ive slept for 10 hrs, been on vacation for a week and been hooked up to an IV flooding my body with hydration! Perfection!!!!

I have very dark, blueish circles under my eyes and in the inner corner of my eyes kind of on the side of the nose. I use cover all mix from make up store, the orange color, to neutralize the blue, then on top of that i use fit me concealer from Maybelline to lighten up the area a little and to make the skin more skin colored rather than orange. I use the lightest color (im very pale). It turns out great! However, I feel like the concealer from make up store is a little bit dry sometimes, but it works for me. :)

Under eyes are my BIGGEST beauty problem, I have such bad dark circles under my eyes (hereditary unfortunately so I can't get rid of them with sleep and water :( ) concealer s are never full enough coverage even with correctors to cover them properly and they always crease and start looking dry or disappear throughout the day, so I'm so pleased you've done this video!! I can't wait to try this tomorrow!!! Thankyou! Xxx

Amazing tip! I have used my cream concealer (MAC) 15yrs. As I have aged my cream concealer, which I Love, is increasingly caking :-( . The liquid over the cream concealer tip makes the caking go away and I am using less cream concealer. My black circles are gone and I have a more natural, less "made up " look. I love the Maybelline fit concealer as my drugstore and the it cosmetics bye bye under eye as my prestige :) and set with tarte amazonian clay powder :) this was so helpful! Now I'm off to watch the foundation video!!

Xcellent tip about layering the eye cream. I have been doing this off and on for a number of years and as I'm getting older I notice that when I rush and slack off on the routine -yup- those nasty crinklies pop up before my coffee goes cold! Totally agree with the liquid suggestion as well. I put a dot of concealer and a dot of eye serum on the back of my hand and dab dab smooth pat pat. The powder suggestion rather freaked me out, but again you haven't steered us wrong. Just the tiniest bit 'smunched' in and WoW - the stuff lasts longer than my 18 hour girdle!!! Lol. Thanks again for helping me gracefully embrace my flaws! And ps. In your advert when you say 'no friends'! Relate-relate but its really quality not quantity that matters, eh?? ;-)

Since you asked for drug store recommendations: Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser is working better for me than anything I've ever used under my eyes (Rimmel's Wake-Me-Up concealer is very good too, but I haven't been able to find it in my area lately). And surprisingly, the Elf Studio under-eye primer is pretty good! Trying the multi-layers of eye cream just made my eyes puffy (my skin is 51 years old, and getting thin), but that primer has decent hydration, so it injures two birds with one stone (You can't expect a kill for $3 LOL).

After trying many concealers, my all time favourite is the L'Oreal Paris True Match Touche Magique Conceal, in the shade Ivory Beige W1.2 Excellent coverage, no creasing!

I really love Clinique Airbrush concealer and Essence Stay Natural. They are amazing!!! If you have dark area under your eyes, these two concealers can help you. They have a thin coverage but they are so pigmented. Thank you for your tips with concealer and foundation!!! They are very useful xxx

I'm a bit confused. In your other video you had mentioned not to moisturise much beneath the eye and instead of concealers we can use the peachy orange undereye correctors (which are usually creamy) but in this video it's the opposite. I don't know which one to follow.
