My frenchie used to not bark and now she’s barking at everything and especially barking at other dogs and people. She either barks and growls like a gremlin or just barks. It’s frustrating!

I have a 5.5 month old blind frenchie that barks like crazy and very anxious. I've trained my Doberman, GSD, Pug, shitzu and, Yorkie without issues. This blind dog is giving me a run for my money. She also has a head tilt and walks in circles often.

In Portugal we have this old book, written by a monk (Padre Domingos Barroso), that blames you for everything that your dog does wrong. And as you know was common to beat the dogs to correct the behavior. Somewhere he says that every time that you think of beating your dog , ask someone to beat you with a stick with twice the thickness. Just to say that if the dog barks to much, it's usually your fault.

I am a physician. My working hour is 8-12 hours. Can i keep a french bulldog in my apartment? He will be alone at those on call duties. I love dogs more than anything. Plz help

They say Frenchies are a great apartment dog! But considering you’re working 8-12 hour shifts .. I would consider a dog sitter or someone close to you that can take care of the Frenchie while you’re gone because they have separation anxiety especially when they’re puppies!

@@tanvirmostafaritul9466 I only have a Frenchie. I wouldn’t know how to answer that but before I made my choice on what dog breed I wanted I researched a lot by books and RU-vid. It was really helpful for my family & I! Hope you find your dog soon 🐾🐾

Hi I know this is late but my frenchie is alone for about 8 hours or more sometimes a day. I get a camera and I leave food and water out for my frenchie and I keep a light and the tv on. I also make sure my frenchie gets a lot of exercise before I leave him and after I come back since my frenchie only sleeps when I’m not home. I leave toys out but he doesn’t use it. Hope this helps!

So are you saying is we have to be the alpha dog in a since ? My French bulldog has a barking issue he wears a prong collar and wears a shock collar e-collar, I don’t know it’s a hurt collar but I want him to just not have to wear all that.He and the other dog (giant schnauzer)had a falling out they no longer get along
