I have been waiting to buy and use a rotary tool for a while. I don't thank its something I would use all the time. I didn't want to spend the money on a well know name brand. I was willing to pay $30-$50. I found one on Amazon and went ahead and bit the bullet. Now let come up with a way to store it.

This Aussie just bought his wife a Dremel cordless & a corded Stylo with a few packets of various burrs. This channel was my first stop when I got home as those burrs will end up seperated and lost otherwise. Great simple & effective solution. Cheers from Sydney, Australia.

That came out nice Mike. I was gonna say "Well that sucks" but you said it twice already! :) I hate drilling holes. It's funny how simple it seems and yet how hard it it to do uniformly. It was good to see your videos again Mike!

Nice idea Mike. Seems like it is easy to have those accessories just laying all over in a messy workshop.u

Just saw your channel for the first time and have a few questions/comments. You didn't want to buy a dremel brand rotary tool but I see all of the expensive power tools in your shop, it makes me wonder why not buy the better brand???? When you were inserting all the bits in the holes on the plywood, they did not look stable. Wouldn't it have made more sense to use a thicker piece of ply so the holes would be deeper thereby having a more stable platform for each of the bits??? Just wondering.

I don’t want a good brand because this is not a everyday tool for me. They come in handy from time to time, and it nice to have one when needed. Yes thicker plywood would for sure be better it’s all I had on hand at the time. The bit are more valuable to me then the tool that why I even took to even make this.

Hi Mike, Nice idea. My rotary tool bits are in about 3 different containers for each type. Might well make one of these to have everything in one place. Cheers, Huw

You spent $2900 of time and energy to organize & store a $29 tool LOL. The good news is when you upgrade to the real thing you’ll be all set with the drawer set-up.

it don't matter how much the tool cost. I still want to be organized and everything I did in this video cost $0 everything was scraps even the foam. Time well spend if you ask me.

Wow last time I bought foam it wasn't expensive at all, must be those dang plywood tarrifs.

What's the "real thing?" FWIW, I run a Foredom TX as a daily driver, but that's likely not what you meant.
