Thank you for this lace trick! I've had these Adidas sneakers that I LOVE for like three years, but the tongue on the left shoe keeps slipping to the side. Thankfully, they have that loop on the tongue, so I re-laced them and I can already see the difference. Looks like the tongue is being retrained.

Have got the same problem with my converse. Unfortunately they don't have that feature on the tongue. Might have to see if I can find something to customise them myself.

Wouldn't it be hard to get your shoes on with the anchors locked in? And when you would get your feet in, wouldn't the shoes need snugging? In other words, it would seem that the fit would have to be loose enough to get your feet IN, but once in, they would be too loose. Just curious.

Depends on the person and shoe. My casual shoes (vans) are tight but I am still able to slip them on and off with the anchors in. I was also able to get away with it with some running shoes.

How can you keep the tongue from sliding around in workboots, such as Golden Fox, Docs, etc., or combat boots which havent got the loop thing on the tongue?

+Shawnkerby Inocencio No way, not while in use! We have never had one break or had anyone report one breaking during use. Of course you could try and snap it in your hands but its difficult. They are fiber filled resin. Not cheapo plastic.
