In this video I show you a very easy, quick and cheap way to straighten bent and kinked wire that may have come out of the junk electronics components box.
Often when building an electronics project or circuit, a piece of connecting wire may be needed and the only place it can be found is in the spares box or some other place where it has been used before and it is bent and kinked.
Removing the bends and kinks in the electronics project connecting wire is very easy and requires only the use of a screwdriver.
It brings many advantages in terms of being able to re-use connecting wire in an electronics project that might otherwise be re-usable, it reduces the cost because it means that new connecting wire does not have to be bought when building the electronic circuit design, and it is also more ecologically friendly because it means that less wire goes to waste.
By simply straightening the connecting wire the electronics project being built can look very much neater and far more presentable.
Although the straightened wire is often left with a slight bend, this is no more than would be present if it were taken straight from a reel.
If it is needed totally straight, then it can be gently run over the screwdriver shank as shown in the video.
This method of straightening wire for an electronics, or other project is very easy and doesn't cost a penny.
