lol my father said that one time, and halfway between boston and nyc in a the middle of a thinderstorm, on our way down the seaboard it all came loose, and i ended up stuffed in the backseat like a sardine with all the wet boat equipment for the rest of the trip… face pressed against the window 😂😂😂😂
You can strap down your paddle, but that requires a specific strap system for your paddle to make sure it doesn't fly off. We recommend putting in the car since it should fit easily.
You can definitely run the board nose first, but it's reassuring to know when it's tail first that fin is gonna catch the straps if they loosen and prevent your board from flying off the roof!
You can definitely place a second board on top of the first and they will work well. The padding on the board will act as protection for the board underneath. Just don't overtighten the straps - you want them snug and secure, but don't crank on them!
