Thanks, but correct me if I am wrong, we can only embed streams from Restream to Streamyard and not from "Streamyard to wordpress..." I am trying to embed my Streamyard live stream to wordpress. Is it possible to embed a Streamyard livestream to wordpress?? Cheers
When this video was recorded this method was the only way. Since then StrramYard released their webinar utility called OnAir which has embed functionality for both the live show and comments into your website and I've done it with WordPress. So yes you can stream to your website now.
So sorry about that... I hope you saw in my replies to previous comments that at the time of me creating this video the feature was available to all plans. They changed it afterward.
Thanks for the comment and support of the channel. Unfortunately no comments do not come from your website to the streaming platform. Unless you embed RU-vid.
This is so timely!!! I’m organizing my first virtual conference and I’m using Wordpress, Streamyard and OBS and I’ve been trying to figure out the best method to do this without using expensive plugins and virtual event platforms.
Awesome! Thanks for the comment and support of the channel! The feature was released last month so and has already saved my clients and I some time effort and energy. Hope it works for you too, happy to share.
How do I stream DIRECTLY TO MY WEB SITE without using a third party? If I'm using Restream, I'm not streaming DIRECTLT TO MY WEB SITE. Your title contradicts itself.
@@mikepruett1745 no website is rtmp that is the protocol used for Livestreaming. You would embed the stream from Restream or whatever your destination is (RU-vid Facebook etc) Hope that makes sense and answers your question.
You can follow the same steps I show in the video for StreamYard but it does require a Restream account. If you don’t want to use RU-vid. Alternatively you can stream from Evmux to RU-vid an embed the RU-vid video on your website.
Thanks for your question but I need some clarity... Which part are you referring to? Restream is the only service that currently allows us to embed a Live Video on our website. So for that part yes you would have to use Restream. But for your Streaming you can use Streamyard or whatever platform you choose but your destination would have to be Restream.
ROBERTO!!!!!! thanks so much for the comment and support of the channel man your message means a lot to me. This was a special one in that i've had this question come up multiple times over the years and i'm glad to have a solution.
Do you record your videos through streamyard and then upload them onto RU-vid? Clarity has been an issue with my live videos. Just upgraded to pro streamyard account with 1080p it did help my last podcast quality. But is it better to record first then edit and upload to keep the 4k/1080 quality?
Hey Kirk, thanks for another great video!!! Been testing this out and it works just as advertised. Thanks. I can even display the chat overlay. The question I have now is how do I add the option for the website visitors to participate in chat?
Not sure if you can embed a chat window on your website but I know restream does have a separate chat. I’m going to look into this. Side Note - StreamYard just dropped a feature today called On Air which is their webinar functionality and it allow you to embed the stream on your website
Does this pick up what we are streaming to RU-vid from OBS via Restream? Like a destination is to RU-vid will it also send that same camera feed to the website?
Thanks for the comment and support of the channel. I may not be understanding your question, when you send the stream from OBS to Restream the video is what you’ve embedding ok your website using the method I describe in this video. Regardless if the origin of the content (OBS Zoom vMix Ecamm etc) Restream will send that video where you specify. In this case it’s your website.
I stopped using OBS a long time ago for many reasons so unfortunately I can't make that video. The feature itself is a Restream Feature so it shouldn't matter which streaming platform your using to Stream as long as you're using Restream as your distributor.
Thanks for your comment and support of the channel! Unfortunately I am not sure what the Standard Plan includes. But I believe this new embed feature is available for all plans. Please confirm with Restream, thanks.
@@BrianGiffen1seems they made it available for a limited time for all accounta then took it away which is unfortunate. That Tier plan is not worth it, in my opinion. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for supporting the channel.
