OBS won't allow me to get a webcam source at the same time, if one is on, the other is black, any fix?

Interesting! It should allow both the landscape and vertical one at the same time since they’re both being used in the same OBS screen, it could be worth setting up both landscape and vertical, and then deactivating and reactivating the webcam in OBS, making sure it isn’t open in other software etc, it should otherwise work, strange one! 🙏🏻🧡

It should be only needed on the OBS side of things and then it will go through to the TikTok Live Studio on its own when you link them, however you could also set up your mic on live studio separately if you preferred but it would be a mostly unneeded extra step 👌🏻

There may be an option in TikTok live studio to enable sound or add the devices again as you have in OBS, otherwise the audio should go through on its own 👌🏻🧡

Thank you for the video. I ran into an issue where I could not see TikTok chat while I was live. A buddy of mine screen recorded and on his phone it showed chat talking but on the studio on my screen it was blank. Have you run into this issue?

I had this also! I ended up using my phone to monitor the chat which isn’t the most ideal fix, but since using it a few times, the chat has now popped up on its own, I think it’s a little unreliable at times for the chat bits!

Great explanation....I'm trying to figure out the stream labs portion though. I tried to put the vertical output, but I don't get the vertical screen along with the horizontal (twitch) stream. Any recommendations??

I think there is still a few issues on the Streamlabs side of things, I believe they only started supporting TikTok streams alongside Twitch a couple of months ago! @@calscreation I appreciate the advice! I went back into the settings and kept turning on and off the duel output. And restarted stream labs. After about 30 tries it worked and it's working as intended. While it's not the ideal or the solution for everyone, it's what worked for me.

For sure! As long as you’re using a capture card through OBS though, I don’t think this would work if you’re streaming directly from the console, hope that helps! :)

Log in to your TikTok account on a computer and click “Go LIVE” on the left-hand side and on the next page scroll down and click the red ‘Go LIVE’ button at the bottom. Select a category and stream title for your stream then click the red ‘Save & Go LIVE’ button. Your live stream dashboard will appear and at the bottom of the screen, you’ll see your Server URL and Stream key 🙏🏻😀

I personally use one PC for both streaming and gaming so I can’t say for sure, but I’d imagine you’d need it on the stream PC OBS 👍🏻
