I weave 2 crosses first like you but don't double pull. I pull the first cross and have never had a problem with starter clamp slipping. Other than that basically the same. Good tutorial. Props to Gamma, I first learned on a gamma crank several years ago before moving to electronic. Good stringers.
would have been nice if you explained the method of using the clamps and walked through the process in more detail. teach us as if we just bought a gamma stringing machine and don't know anything about stringing - which is my situation.
Because the starting clamp can crush the string, it would be good to use a stand off on the first cross if you are going to leave the clamp in place until all the crosses are in.
Great video. You could (need) to use a starting block/off set tool with the starting clamp when stringing multifilament and gut strings. If you need a starting block, I can send you one if you'll get in touch with me.
Hello ist there a possibility to show on a video how to string a tennis racquet with the gamma progression II 602 FC - Pro?! I bought this machine new but i am not sure if i really use the right technique to string the racquet. Especially i dont now how to use the drop weight correctly. Thanks! Best regards
The main reasoning is that if you release the string clamp first, there is a possibility the string could slip through the clamp as tension is released and cause damage to the string. Releasing the base first prevents this from happening by releasing tensino while the string clamp is still locked and what chew into the string at all.
Stopped watching at double half hich knot.... Such a great products produced by Gamma and stringers using double half hitch knots... Proper amateur stuff...
