In this short video i strip 2 40K assassins and a number of Battlefleet Gothic Escorts using my Ultrasonic Cleaner, some Methylated Spirits, some rubber gloves and a toothbrush
This was actually very useful, I just got an ultrasonic cleaner and had already been using neat metholated spirits, but having read the instruction manual i was hesitant as the instruction manual warned about flammable liquid being an explosion danger. Im glad to see its safe to use, thank you very much.
Spekd* I’ve stripped plenty of models using my ultrasonic cleaner and I still have loads that I wanna do, I’m really looking forward to repainting some of my 4th edition Warhammer fantasy goblins once I’ve stripped them
Hello mate, Just curious how you get the meths back in the bottle.I assume you just tip the contents of the cleaner into a funnel that leads to the bottle? Cheers.
I have a couple of syringes I bought off amazon at the same time as buying the cleaner, I basically get as much liquid out as I can then wipe the inside of the machine with a cloth.
@@hextosis9802 I have been stripping miniatures using this now for over 2 years, some of them were close to 25 years old and are going into my warhammer quest set from 1995
Does this strip all paints or mostly acrylic? My old warhammer stuff I used testors paint 15 years ago. Believe it’s considered enamel. I’ve tried simple green ( us product ) works for metal models but not my plastic ones
Any flammable spirits like iso or methylated spirits shouldnt go in ultrasonic cleaner it can vmcause a big explosion water based stuff such as dettoll and simple green is fine !
