Dr Raga, A simple question. Why did you choose Dubai residency training over the US training? Secondly, how much do they pay to a resident in Dubai? Lastly, is this residency accepted worldwide? Can we practice in other countries after this training or its just for Dubai? Kindly answer these queries or add them to your video , whatever is convenient for you :) Thanks
Generally, no country will accept a residency from another country without some form of assessment. As far as I know, US doesn't accept residency from another country. They accept MBBS but you have to complete USMLE first and then you can apply for residency there. For Australia, there's a specialist pathway where you apply to the specialist college. Once the assessment is complete and they find you partially comparable, you still need to work another two years as a resident. I'm not too sure about any other countries
Hello, I am a medical student from Serbia and I am interested in pursuing a career in Dubai. This EMSTREX exam, is it the same as the EMREE exam? On the DHA (Dubai Health Administration) website, I saw EMREE, but in other places (like this video) I mostly see EMSTREX. I am a bit confused and would like to get some more information about this. Lecturio is absolute crap. Their internal medicine section is the same as pathology and pharmacology literally. They have just copied the section. The lectures are shallow. They are useless.
This is not the case now, EMREE pattern has changed and cutoff point is higher. Even after MMI , there is a second interview and shortlisting afterwards. It is purely based on recommendations and other basis like religion and nationality. I wouldnt recommend anyone wasting their years on this . If planning abroad other than home country try USMLE and PLAB
