Dear Sarah, I am so grateful for all your videos! I can honestly say that I passed Med Surg 1 because of you! You are a great teacher! I will have Maternity, Peds and Med Surg next semester; I already started watching your maternity review and I am learning a lot! I just want to say thank you and may The Lord Bless you!

Hello :) Congrats to you on passing Med Surg 1! I'm so very honored my videos helped you out during that class. It is a rough class! Thank you for your kind words. Receiving comments like yours really means a lot to me because it is so AWESOME to know these videos are helping. I hope to add some more maternity and Peds videos over the summer. Right now, I'm covering renal...so may be that will help you in med surg 2 next semester? I hope you enjoy the break...hopefully you do something fun :)

Thank you so much Sarah! I read a lot on here that students feel professors aren’t teaching. There will always be exceptions, but now in third semester looking at this video I am making more connections and the reality is my professors are teaching. It just takes a lot of effort and seeing the material from different perspectives to connect everything. There are concepts Sarah covers my instructors are covering but just in a different way. Thank you Sarah and thank you nursing instructors putting in so much effort to help aspiring nurses critically think in the field ❤️

I wish my school would break the courses down so that we take an entire course on something like Maternity Nursing. Our school has Maternity, Pediatric and Medsurg all mashed together into one clinical course of 15 weeks. It feels so rushed and mishmash together. I am thankful for your videos, they are life saver for any nursing student.

I was just going to reply what school is getting an entire semester? We are getting 7 weeks on "family health" then the second 7 weeks is "Adult health" which is new names for mother baby and med surg. Plus I work in the operating room full time. This semester is already terrifying me. I officially start class tomorrow but geez I cancelled plans this weekend to jumpstart

How would you advice a young male nursing student to go about in this section (in terms of clinical). I've been told before that my looks (young, handsome, athletic, baby face and being a male) tend to make the female patient feel embarrassed or uneasy. And in previous times, even though i always ask for permission to assist, i always find the patient to be awkwardly even if they say "yeah", or sometimes they won't tell me, but will inform a coworker. Then i always feel bad. In other words, what can I as a male nursing student do to avoid these situations. Tips and tricks would be appreciated,
