I have couple of questions. 1.>Is there a age limit for applying to German institutes? 2.> I have heard that in Germany most of the subjects are taught in German , so what are the basic requirements of German language . 3.>What about academics? I have read from a couple of websites , that if you have completed 1 year of education from a renowned university , then you are eligible for applying to German universities(for Indian students). Great video. I am a Indian Belgian man living in North West of Belgium. Yes, it is a very disciplined and another kind of education system here as well likewise in Germany. I wonder if there are organisations like DAAD for Indian students coming here to study in Belgium. We do have certain courses in English medium as well I guess, though languages here for education are Dutch and French.

Biswajit, here is a response from DAAD - GRE is course dependent, please check the requirements tab under the international programmes website to find out is GRE is required for the course you are interested in.

My Name Is Emmanuel and I Graduated In Engineering With an extra year as I put my studies aside for a while during college ..Initially I took care of my studies and my passion simultaneously and later on I went further and further more in my dream to Perform and Choreography (Dance) where in that journey I suffered an unfortunate Inside Injury at the Sacroiliac Joint which I found as a huge obstacle ..But I never gave up So I went on with it using painkillers to keep moving forward and forward ..& one bad night after a great performance my right leg suffered severely and I haven't Suffered anything like that ever before which made me decide to kiss the stage a goodbye, I couldn't even walk to help my self in day to day activities..And had to take a long rest on my bed and missed my semesters and college ...I couldn't help myself at all except seeing things passing on .. and that affected my academics which took me longer than 4 year engineering degree to a 5 year engineering graduate.. and now I'm really looking into pursuing masters in Germany but would it be a problem with students like me who haven't finished graduation in time allotted to it.. I have helped 400 plus students for free education in Germany where tuition fee starts from 10,000 rupees to 50,000 rupees for semester. And Ielts or GRE not needed (not compulosry for many universities in Germany or Italy )if they just want to study in Germany in English taught engineering or science programs especially. I wish people understand that free education is available for everyone in abroad these days.

Guys don't believe everything you hear from the RU-vid & websites, they don't give all the insights you need. For Bachelors, if you're a student from India (Asia), you'll need at least 13 years of education to enroll for bachelors in German universities. That means you've to join Studienkolleg (prep course) and pass an examination to join your 3 year bachelors there. The main problem here is, you'll need to have a good German proficiency (at least B2 level) because the whole Studienkolleg is held in German language. For learning German till B2 level, you've spend about an year before Studienkolleg for international students. So you'll have to spend 2 years extra after you 12th boards before you can join for bachelors in Germany. You've to show about 7 lakhs in the blocked account, and then have to spend another 6.5 to 7 lakhs just for the language proficiency there. Studienkolleg is free there...So in short you'll need about 14 lakhs just for this excluding all other things like medical insurance which will cost you about 400-600 euros, then student visa for 3months is about 60 euros, then other processing fees, Application fee and other expenses. So you'll need about 15-20 lakhs for your bachelors there. Then you have to spend about 700 euros for your monthly rent, food and other expenses.

Hi, I am unable to answer this question in a general fashion, since there is no one answer that will be good for everyone. If you have enough resources and can secure admission to the top ranked universities in the world then surely go ahead with that. Germany is a great option for a student looking at high quality education at the lowest cost. Choice will have to be made by you based on your own situation, goals and requirements

Hello, I am studying in 6th sem mechanical engineering in Sai Vidya institute of technology, in india I had a an year back due to personal reasons and had lot of backs in first and second year. After I got into 3rd year I maintained a 6.5 aggregate in all subjects and without any backlogs, if I complete my engineering in 6.5 pointer! Hi, Thanks for updating the information regarding higher education in Germany. I would request you to make another episode where you can provide all the detail about education system in Entire Europe like Netherland, UK, Italy , France etc along with scholarship for Indian students and which are those best B-school where we can study well. Here because of higher competition in India along with population we are not able to get our selections in IIMs and another major problem with millions rupees of tution fee which is really hard to pay and no more opportunity we have in India like part time job along with studies . I am very much interested in applying for bachelors in computer science in Germany but I don't have a very strong resume...I didn't participate in extra curricular activities in school and didn't reach any state or national level in olympiad exams. @@poppyflorist Yep living ain't free. I only referred to the cost of an MBA degree from Germany. As they said, you can get a scholarship from their organization which does cover the cost of living but it is probably for Undergrad students only. Visit their website for more information on their scholarship criteria.
