So happy to hear this video was helpful for you, Frederick Cartwright! You will do GREAT! Thank you for being here, your support means the world to us. 😊
I am doing the same with the lecture& PPT & Textbook notes but without the colour coding (so just sorting around my slides, place the specific wording of the teacher to a specific point, and add the textbook on the same point. If that is overlapping, I eliminate what is more confusing)--> will try that
I guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@Alex Layne Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Yes!!! Knowing them and being able to critically think about the information instead of just memorizing it! It will help SO much! Thanks for being here, Tifany Lam!
We have packets we have to fill out before class from reading the textbook, but my instructor assures me that won't be everything we need to know. How do you organize your notes if you have to read the text FIRST then go to class?
This is SUCH a great question, Abbie! A lot of programs do this, and I definitely recommend skimming the textbook before class (that's one of the first steps I teach in our Study Success Course inside the NursingSOS Membership Community). So, if your professor has your really READ the textbook before class, take a look at your class outline/modules/study aids/etc. to see what your professor will be focusing on (most likely). Then, read the sections of the book that correspond with that. I hope that helps!!! :)
Thank you so much! I just joined and started nursing school so this is super helpful! I may have more questions in the future once fundamentals is over haha
YAY! We are so happy you are here! Thank you for letting us know you loved this video, Katy Shoptaugh. 😊 Our favorite part of our day is hearing about how our resources have helped YOU! Your support means the world to us. 😁
thank you for your videos. just stumbled on your site and they are helpful. for the study hacks, what do you have for us in accelerated program where everything is virtual? there are no lectures
You CAN do this, @cynthiaokafor791!! Don't give up! This video is great for when it feels like your instructor doesn't teach, and that can certainly happen in accelerated programs! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ofyv2ZA0OzI.html
You CAN do this, Future nurse Shadow!! Don't give up! Focus on the sections that your instructor talks about in class.Communicate with them, you've got this!
Kyla Boston you CAN do this! You are doing better than you think you are! It is always a lot all at once in the first few weeks, breathe and trust that you are so CAPABLE!
%name %, that does happen sometimes too. Focus on whateer they give you to guide your reading. If they give you topics to cover or any specifics they give be sure to focus on those. Another thing you could do would be to go through the chapters they assigned and check in with your instructor on what you are planning to study and how you will do that. Communicate with them, this is super important, ESPECIALLY with online courses. :) Remember, you will be an AMAZING nurse that God created only YOU to be, and you CAN do this! We are here to support you, don't give up Roman. There is ALWAYS a way! 😊

Sirena, pharmacology would be the different medications and how they work, and nursing interventions would be what you are doing, as the nurse, to help your patient. I hope that helps, friend!
This can be frustrating, ana Davila! The best thing you can do is communicate with your instructor. Ask them to meet and review either previous exams, or how you are studying. Reviewing this will give you more insight as to what they are expecting you to know for the exam! It will also go a long way to show them that you are dedicated to being an amazing nurse!! You've got this!
@@anadavila7124 I also had a professor like that...unfortunately probably why I ended up with a C when I know that I could have/should have done better!! It was very frustrating to say the least!! Good luck to your future studies!! We got this!!💯😃
We have this video to help you study pharmacology: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2yxB36yzYPU.html Hope you have a fantastic day, Shan A.. 😀
