Sir, the current curriculum has changed around Microbiology. It has become Systemic. So it would be great if you can make a video on this again. Honestly reading Sastri/Paniker is super frustrating without any other ways to study 😅
I'm noticing that many people from earlier times including myself don't think this new way of studying systemically works well. Refer to First Aid, there is a system wise approach like you talk about diarrhoea and then discuss all bacteria and virus that can cause it, but just names and brief one liners. The details have to be studied individually under the organism class. You cannot study bacterias that affect multiple systems under one system mainly.
i struggled a lot during my second year in micro. since we didnt have as great teachers in our govt college, i studied various books and resources, and if i give my two cents : 1. best resource is sketchy. it made me learn everything visually. best for bacterio and virology 2. There's this book called 'clinical microbiology made ridiculously simple'. hands down its the best book to read micro. i suggested it to all my juniors and always got good reviews. filled with tables and picmonics 3. First Aid - best to revise everything in one hour 4. apurva shankar shastry - for prof exams. and otherwise also, it is the most organized book.
