I bleached 2 pair and they worked! 1 paid I sprayed with straight bleach and the other pair I dumped bleach into a bucket and dropped them in and let them sit.

So I want to do this with some jean jackets I customized but, I have the handheld cricut iron thingy.. would this work? And, do you have to use the Teflon paper or should I get some?

I sold my cricut easy press because I couldn’t get the same amount of pressure I needed like a heat press can do. You can always give it a try but definitely push down hard. And yes I would highly suggest Teflon sheets 💜

You do need a high percentage of polyester for sublimation. The ink adheres to the polyester at high temperatures.

If you start looking for one, the Epson et 2720 is a good one to start with!

Thank you! I use an Epson et 2720 and I’ve tried many different inks like WOKOK, cosmos, StarCraft, they’re all pretty good!

An iron won’t work unfortunately, you need a heat press to get strong enough pressure

Someone needs to invent a spray on polyester that can be sprayed into fabric and bind the color to the fibers. As far as your dark jeans go again it's about the material. Bleach works better on some than others.

they do. polyt spray. dark jeans won't work with sublimation since the ink is translucent

has to have more than 60% polyester otherwise will just wash out. im surprised it even transfered

Okay cotton jeans I didn't know that sublimating our cotton it would stay when going to wash my experience when you wash it it fades

cotton does NOT hold sublimation ink. she said these were a poly blend. the designs will fade some due to the cotton in the denim.
