@@Oz__MTG no joke.. too bad they grade so hard or they would actually be in the same universe as the king of grading PSA . It sad but true. Beckett grades way way too hard. Best slabs though.too bad you cant get one with a 9 on it. LoL.. For reels Becket needs a revamp. Love Beckett.
@@Hughmonte oh definitely. I respect that they’re really strict in a sense, because black label wouldn’t be worth near as much if they weren’t as strict. So I’d say use Beckett if you really love them or you’re 100% chasing black labels. 🤘🏼💎
As a 60 year old, BUT, haven't bought a baseball card since 1991, I do remember Beckett price guides from the early 80's and onward and what prices were in them WERE GOLDEN. Since the B.B. card crash in the 1990's I'm not surprised after all these years he's gotten into card grading, being the king of pricing guides. I understand graded cards is the way to go to actually sell cards or to have cards have value BUT DAMN I'd hate to know how much these grading service make a year!!!!!
Hey man thanks for the video! I just had a question if you see this it would really help me out. I just decided to grade my cards and I just pulled a super super rare card from the Dragonball super card game, I pulled the God Rare ultra instinct Goku and my question is: is there a way to raise the declared value of the card you’re submitting? This card is going for about $1,800 ungraded and I don’t think I can declare higher value for the submission above like $250 or something like that and my anxiety is killing me thinking it would break my heart into a million pieces if while it’s at Beckett it goes “missing” and they can only reimburse me $250. This scenario is driving me crazy and makes me not want to get it graded. Please give me some peace of mind if you can or some way to insure the card for the time it’s physically at Beckett. Thanks a lot man! 🤙🏼
I would recommend emailing them with your order number and processing the raised insurance through them. Alternatively you can also call them though I find email to be preferred. Hope it goes well for you!

Depends on the grader, honestly hard to know without seeing it and even then there isn’t a perfect standard in place for everything so it is often left to interpretation.
On the submission form you typed vivid voltage Charizard for 5 cards. Doea that mean you sent in five similar cards? Let's say I want to submit 10 different cards, don't I have to write down all the cards I'm sending in?
Yes you have to document every one of them. Some submission forms will have to do a quantity though so you would not have to retype the same name multiple times!
besides PSA's turnaround time what about this could possibly be better than PSA? These are fake comments part of their new strategy w the new management.
I’m sorry I thought this question was about Shopify orders🤦 for submissions they pull the money when they grade the cards so however long it’s takes them to get to them then it charges it. Sometimes if there is a reason they can’t grade it they only charge the shipping back.
@MrChonkachu you good man BGS just put a pending pre authorization for my order and they haven't received cards yet so I was just wondering if it was same for you when u did your submission online ...so when I put my card info in and submitted my order the put a hold on the total pretty much never had that happen
Damage most likely, though I have never bothered to submit anything like that so i couldn’t say for certain. I would expect those things to put the card in the 1-6 grade range
@@MrChonkachu Gotcha. I was asking because I once saw someone get a 7 on a card a significant crease at BGS. So thought maybe they graded them differently. Thanks for your input!
Interestingly enough, it was different this last time because i was charged upfront if i remember correctly. They may have changed their policies. Would be best to send them a message to confirm.
