Can you please make one about travel claims, if you use your own car for work-related matters and claim back for that? because apparently there is a logbook you need to keep for as long as you claim from SARS and some friends have not gotten their returns due to not keeping a logbook and obviously some of the travels you forget. Hi Sne, yes you can. There is a option that says 'Reqeust Corretion'. I should warn you though that this will trigger a verification with SARS but if the mistake is huge then it is worth it.

How do I edit my IRP5 details after I've already submitted my return but realised later that the employment period was captured wrong?

You can not edit your IRP5 when you are submitting your return, your employee needs to do it. Only after they have done it can you go a request a correction on efiling and resubmit your return.

A quick Q: If you have not done it at all due to self knowledge that below a certain amount sars does not count you as a tax payer but if it does get to the amount, payment is done by the company for years till date reflecting on payslip, how do i get through that?

Your previous employer should have loaded your IRP5s so register on efiling and request the years that you want to submit. Double check if the IRP5s are correct and submit your returns.
