You rely on people for everything, even if you don't see it. For instance, the "people-free entertainment" you value so much (internet, books, games, whatever) are made by people.
Honorable mention: Don't always assume you're the last person on Earth because you're probably just the only person within miles away from other survivors.
I would never settle in one spot I would keep traveling around thinking "theres no way I'm the last one alive" It would give you hope and a purpose, you also get to see all the sites you've always wanted to
@@kirstenuitdewilligen3660 People can walk very far on foot (of course not compared to modern vehicles) but walking several kilometers a day is probably not the best idea in a survival situation, unless you're either stalking a prey, escaping from a danger or going to an overall much better location. You would spend way too much energy, that's the problem
Just want to take a moment to thank everyone who helps keep society moving, even if you don’t get much credit, you make the world a better place to live.
Sometime in the future, someone will actually experience being the last person on earth, its bound to happen sooner or later. But I dont think it will ever be completely unexpected, there would be a lot of hardship leading up to that extinction, and if you ever found yourself being the last person you need to really watch out for what made everyone else go extinct before you. I dont think the water thing is as much of a problem as people make it, and the fear of water poisoning could be more dangerous than the actual risk of serious water poisoning (depending on biome of course). I have drunk directly from mud puddles deep into the forest and turned out fine, in addition to several freshwater lakes. When humans are gone there wont be anyone to pollute the waters anymore either.
Your guys channel is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I've been sharing it with tons of people. Can you PLEASE do videos for every single condition in the 55,000 conditions list from the World Health Organization, especially medical conditions? The healthcare system is horrible. That will give you video content for decades to come. Please reply if you can do this, I will spread your channel a lot!
Now let's look at this scenario realistically. This might work in a perfect world but let's consider some realities. Number 1....the world has many nuclear power plants that without proper maintenance will quickly melt down and explode. So dealing with nuclear fallout is going to be a serious issue. Number 2.....if you have any serious medical issues you'd better be able to treat these with the proper medications providing you can find them and even then, eventually they will expire. I'm sure there are other problems I'm missing but these are just two off the top of my head.
STEPS: 1:17 STEP 1(Find Some Shelter) 2:37 STEP 2(Get Food and Water) 3:30 STEP 3 (Give Yourself Some Time to Grieve) 4:12 STEP 4(Live a Sustainable Life)
Me too but after moving out, I kinda feel lonely when I see others with friends/ family to talk to and I don't. I think introverts have that need to socialise too, even though it's much lesser than extroverts but hard to survive without it
1. Find shelter in a house or apt. that is next to a river or water supply. That is a good idea to look for one next to a store also. 2. Clean, clean, and clean more. 3. Look for someone or animal to talk to. 4. Look for radio or some type of broadcast waves.
you know how he mentioned finding a pet? i just thought about all those animal shelters with animals in confinement without access to food and clean water 🙁so they’re just going to die alone , made me sad man
This channel is runned by a genius, everytime a video “ends” it shows: now imagine if bla bla bla with some interesting topic leading to click the video and so on until you watched a lot of them and get bored
Wow, the next time you're a bit annoyed by the people around you, just be thankful they're here, that speaks truth. Just imagine waking up on morning and realizing there's nobody around at least in your area. Mind boggling.
So really, it would be best to start looking for a good place to live and prepping for long term survival within the 1st few weeks. That way you might be well on your way to fully ready when the wild animals start to really notice.
Lol for real. What's the point of living if nobody else is around.. I'd walk around a bit eat some food. Explore.. then probably just take a bunch of drugs and alcohol get on a raft and just coast out into the Ocean
"Learn how to deal with social isolation" Me: Laughs in earplugs and noise cancellation even with all neighbors sleeping. Bed, desk, bathroom, that's my routine for the last almost 2 years.
Me : Ah , I won’t do any of my school assignments now Mother( appears out of no where ) : I knew , I knew it you wouldn’t do it on your own, now get up and finish it stupid, I am not disappearing again until you finish 😂
Just think when you have some phobia like scoptophobia you will go insane coz you will still feel the sense of being watched even if you were alone in the world
honestly, it was just me, my family, and maybe a few friends left on earth I would be THRILLED. I mean, the world would be completely empty of other humans. Any normal rules we had for a functioning society/ civilization would be completely unnecessary. Nobody would care, because there is nobody. The only thing would be finding food, but if you live well and know how to hunt, fish, and forage, life would be awesome. Ofc, there are drawbacks, such as you couldn't explore that well if there was nobody around to fly planes. You couldn't exactly go far. Also, this would completely set back climate change and the world would be new again. Nature would heal. If i had the chance to choose a few select people, about fifty or so, and then make everybody else on earth vanish, I definitely would do it.
Drive a cruise ship and u could explore at least half the world ish unless u we’re on an island U have many continents that join in each hemisphere to wander on. If u snagged a large boat and read the stars or used a digital imbedding sea route program it could auto stear.
Your going to need a bigger gene pool than fifty people. As well as a long itinerary of required skills for comfort and long term survival. 50 thousand would be enough to inhabit the entire planet. You could of course vanish with your 50 friends and family elsewhere!
