Lol been there before. Just choose your friends carefully, they’ll influence most of your decisions in some type of way. Met this girl who was pretty and nice. Once she started hanging out with skater dudes she started doing drugs and getting into some drama.

I’m actually starting high school tomorrow.. I remember watching this years ago. Time flies.. Class of 2023 🙂 EDIT: (7/10/2020) I remember watching/reading comments giving advice last year before going into high school and I just completed my freshman year so here goes nothing: My freshman year was pretty good, it really flies though. High School is definitely very different from middle school/elementary. There is a lot more freedom, which I prefer. I will also say that the beginning of my freshman year it was hard to adjust, I literally sat with one other person on the first day at lunch and forgot to get my transpass that day. Also I missed the early train home. But eventually it definitely got way better. A tip I have is to get involved in different things that interest you so you can make friends easily. That can be a sport, music, a club, etc. Also make sure to focus on your academics because they’re important. Anyways that’s my advice and obviously high school was shut down from covid-19 so I didn’t really get to experience the whole year. Also I wanna finally add that HIGH SCHOOL IS FOUR YEARS YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE THE SAME PERSON YOU WERE GOING INTO IT. Use these four years to learn who you are, and your identity as. a person. No one is going to be the same person they were in the beginning of freshman year. Take advantage of high school. Also finally make high school memorable.. make sure to do stuff you’ve never done before, things out of your comfort zone- whether big or small. I’m already a sophomore these years will fly and I know soon enough i’ll be a senior graduating. So live it up with zero regrets because everything that happens to you whether it’s unfortunate (there will be some awful days) or amazing will help shape you into the person you will be in the future.

...first day of high school was nothing like this for me. No jocks, no drama mamas, no hit teachers that everyone fan girls over or any other things. It was just boring af. Survived my first year, it was pretty great Guys if you're reading this please listen 1. Do all your work 2. Talk to everybody, break out of your shell 3. Join clubs or sports, I'd say personally I loved marching band 4. Dont date seniors 5. Enjoy every part of it or else you'll regret it Love yalls ❤❤

I’m going to be a senior this year and you guys have nothing to worry about. Just be you and stay on top of your work,and just make it what you want to be. Don’t try and be popular and fit in with the cool people you will find you set of friends. When I went in my freshman year I had a lot a friends but as time went on in high school my circle got smaller. The friends you come in with will not be the friends you leave with. Don’t talk to upperclassmen boys and just be you. I hope I helped u and good luck 🍀

I remember I watched this video a few years back when it was my first year of middle school. I had a heart attack because I thought that high school was really scary. And NOW this year I'm going to highschool and I can say I feel like I'm going to die. I can't deal with new people I just get really nervus and probobly come of as really weird. Im hotter then a hot potato you’ll do fine, it’ll definitely be hard at times but do your homework and make sure to do ALL the extra credit you can do, you should also join clubs if you’re looking for people with the same interests. This stuff can be hard to do but the most important thing is to not care what people think, wear what you want, say what you want, and hang out with the people you want to hang out with. I wasn’t involved in a lot of drama because I didn’t rlly have friends and I really regret not joining clubs or doing a sport, if you need any other advice, my Instagram user is the same as this one

I'm the same way but I started watching Jeffree Star a while ago, someone who was very "weird" in school and had lots of mental issues and now, he's a millionaire and owns his own makeup company. He gave me a little more confidence and made me realize that even though I am NOT girly even in the slightest, I LOVE makeup. Maybe try something like that. Discover an influencer that makes you more confident and someone you can relate to. Good luck!

This video is not a good representation. 1) the cafeteria is not like that at all 2) hot jocks rarely exist 3) you're gonna lose 2/3rds of your middle school friends 4) have fun the first semester, it gets SO MUCH HARDER the 2nd semester 5) upper class men are hella cool and you'll have a lot of upper class men friends by the end of the school year 6) take break days in the second semester, you'll NEED it 7) your first year is gonna be VERY AWKWARD and was but it's cool 8 if you want a good representation watch me and Earl and the dying girl.

You will be fine I’m going to be a senior this year and just be you and don’t let anyone try and change you. Get involved with clubs. Don’t try and fit in with the popular kids you will find your set of friends. Stay on top of your work because as you move up it gets harder good luck 🍀

Ok I'm gonna be a sophomore this year (class of 2021 where you at?😊) and high school, specifically freshman year isn't as scary as it seems to be. Its just like when you went to middle school for the first time. New people, new teachers, new building. After a week you'll be settled in. TIPS💛 -Introduce yourself to people sitting around you in your classes on the first day. Easy way to make friends. -Give off good vibes and don't be negative toward anyone -Upperclassmen usually aren't a problem, they're just intimidating, avoid senior hallways. -People don't care about what you wear and how you look. They keep their opinions to themselves unless they're stuck up, in which case defend yourself! -Boys during this year usually aren't worth it... but if your interested in guys: DON'T👏SEND👏NUDES👏

Twizzlers 123 The work part is a decision you have to make, unless if you have something that literally keeps you from doing your work, like a condition or problems that need attention. Drama, it is something I never experience, but if you are caught up in it, the best thing to do is literally walk away or figure out something clever to keep everyone out of your way (non-violent though).
