(Summary)There are 3 dissease of ummah : 1. Love dunya 2. Envy (from no. 1 dissease) lost focus on akhirah (all comparison is about dunya) - cure; re focus on the final home. Furnishing the home in lifeafter, grateful 3. Doubt in the heart; the cure is istigfar and repetance to Allah S.W.T 4. Lost the concept of good character (honesty, mercy for one and another, compassion, empathy)
the man choose the pain killer over the cure, and te disease went to his head and he passed away... it's symbolic of going after symptoms and not causes... says no praying is like not breathing, thikr is like oxygen... hadith you will be like the foam, as you have no independence... and the problem is you love dunya as a dis ease.... you don't own your stuff, your stuff owns you. Quran 57, this world is play (elementary) and amusement (teens) and znuh (adournment like high school) competition., accumulation... etc... 12 :00 - refocus on final home (reminds me of hadith Aisha the first verses revealed were of akira) after love of dunya, is envy Quran 59 : 18. O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for the morrow, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do. there is also problem of doubt... can be from sins... hadith there is a lump of flesh in teh body, its the heart, it affects the rest of the body... Make Istigfar. We lost good character of honesty, mercy etc. ppl complain about leaders, but we have to change ourselves, Quran 13 :11... being religious doesn't mean be hard. best are those best to your families not the ppl in the masjid! Hadith I have been sent to perfect character. speaks of despair! - Quran 29 :2 ( many other ayats) Quran 2 :214...

Prophet Muhammad peace upon him . wasn't against the loving of life or not enjoying it .but he was against those people who hesitate or slow down to defending their own land . he exampled them like trash shifted by the water .
