Winter quarter is one of the hardest quarters. It's rainy, cold, and no one wants to have to go to class in that. Here are my tips on how to survive the winter quarter at UC Davis

Consider wearing a helmet. I always thought they were very goofy, especially in college. Then I spent a few weeks visiting a friend in a coma in a neuro-ICU.

And for commuter students who don’t like stack parking! When it rains all of the parking lots close to campus will typically be full between 9am and 3pm so get to campus early if you can.

Who designed those classrooms without windows?! Chalkboards and old desks....I'd hate sitting in classrooms like that for 2 hours at a time...

So at UC Davis do freshmen have to live on campus? I want to apply for next year but I really don’t want to live wit anyone and have my own apartment. If I move months before the start of fall 2020 do you think they’ll let me stay of campus?

If u are a freshman you don’t have to live in the dorms. When were freshmen one of my friend commute everyday to Davis because she only lives 20 minutes away.

Some live in West Sacramento and ride the Yolo bus to Hickey Gym.

You should do like Lance Armstrong and replace your red blood cells with fresh red blood cells full of oxygen so you can ride uphill no matter how difficult and tiring.
