Our newest bunny is 5 years old. We’ve only had him for a week. I sat on the floor in front of his pen while he was eating his veggies last night I started talking to him; then he got mad and stomped at me. 😂 Pretty hilarious. I just left him alone after that. We have 5 other rabbits that are 8 to 11 years old; and we’ve fostered over 50 bunnies in the last 10 years. He obviously doesn’t like to be bothered at meal times. 😊
I studied and read all about Rabbits for almost 2 months. When I first Adopted My Son Kirby 🐇, I slept on the floor for 3 day's. Let him come to me. The first morning I woke up he had Chewed my shoes. By the 3 night, he tried to take the Treats from my shirt pocket. He looked at me and did the Super Man Pose just watching me. I made sure that I Bunny proof my home first. Kirby 🐇 is a Flemish Giant, Free Roamer, and Eating Chewing Machine, 15 lbs of Pure Fun. Big Time Chewer. He has Chewed, 2 beds, blankets, rugs, furniture, cord's, Shoes, clothes and my hair. I forgot almost all my jeans 👖 have been Chewed at the bottom. When we watch TV together at night he will jump on the couch, 🛋️ or do the Super Man Pose between my legs. I Promised Him No Cage Never Again. I Meant It. Kirby 🐇 is the Boss of the House. He's My Life. A 73 year old Crazy Bunny Father.🤗👍✨🥰💝🥕🥬🍌🐰
Cinnabun is an adorable bunny 🐰 🐇 💙 It is so much fun to watch him play! If this is the second bunny 🐰 🐇 you have had it won't take long for you to realize you will probably need to do more bunny proofing! Have a great Sunday, Cinnabun! Bunnies 🐰 🐇 RULE!
I have a,ways had free range buns too, as a kid my whole room was their room, as an adult now we still keep the x pen for bedtime as we have other animals and love that bun can have some free time to rest and have time away from the other animals in our home, so everyone is safe and well
My rabbit bonded really quickly, and litter trained really well. He free roams during the day, and goes in a massive pen at night. Mainly because I wouldn’t have any furniture left if he was left out. He’s now five, and has decided he likes digging in his litter tray and making it flew all over my sitting room, especially when it’s fresh litter. He also loves throwing around his food bowl. I tried water in a bowl as they say don’t give them bottles, but the water in the bowl lasted two minutes before ending up on the floor. I tried all types of bowls and he’s such a big rabbit, he manages to throw all of them. I bunny proofed, but I still have no bottoms on my curtains, chewed carpet, and so many holes in my leather sofa, it looks like a patchwork. I even made the mistake once of drying a top on the radiator, and when I looked, one arm was laying on the floor. Now he’s older, he doesn’t jump around so much as he has arthritis in his back half. He does like to learn on you while he’s sleeping. His breed only lives to six. The vet said he may live longer as he’s well cared for. He is a joy to have, he will be greatly missed when it’s his time to go.
I'm enjoying watching these videos, as Cinnabun's owner knows what she's going to say, being clear and organized about presentation, and not using the word 'like' in every sentence! A pleasant learning video to reinforce and clarify what I've researched (about a few weeks from adopting). Thanks!
I get sooo excited on Sundays for your video!!! I’m getting new bunnies next week and have binned through all you videos because they are more informational than almost everything else I’ve tried looking at! This helped a lot because I want to be very prepared for my two new little fluff babies
@SincerelyCinnabun hello thankyou for all your helpful tips !! Just wondering if you use a standard playpen from kmart ect ?(for when bunny is sick or toilet training) .
mine had sadly passed away because i didnt take care of it well since i didnt know the basics but ever since ive been watching your channel i started to understand my mistakes and decided to get a new bunny and started free roaming without you i feel like my life would be miserable. Tysmmm!
This is my first time seeing baby Cinnabun, as I think it was like 6 months or so after you started your channel I subbed. I had already had my girl Momo for a while, my bro had put her outside in a hutch. But because of your channel and Lennon's I managed to get her inside to inside free-roam but she went outside every day for 4 hours at a time. I bonded with her within 3 weeks. When I got Jin it was like 5-6 weeks till we bonded. He was curious about me though I'd sit on the floor film my tiktoks and he would be chasing things around me, so cute. Now he likes to jump on my bed give kisses get pets as I'm drifting off to sleep. Then he'd put himself to bed.
We speak softly to our baby bun, lots of petting on his forehead, healthy veggies 🥬🍎and training treats...it'll take time but the baby bun loves encouragement
Cinna is soo adorable. i got my Honeymoon when he was only three weeks old and immediately we played a bonding game and that meant lesser time for potty training, my regret came when he can now pee and poop that he did it everywhere, uncontrollably. we are two moths together and potty training is not consistent as i work 8 to 5. thank you for your video, soo encouraging and i will start right over with introductions. this is my second punny, we did so well with my first, simply because we took a lil longer to bond, and even when we did, it was never as close as i wished.
Thanks for making these. I brought home a couple of 4 month old boys recently (different litters but they had been together since 8 weeks and are very friendly toward one another). Right now they're limited to just my room, and they learned pretty quick to pee in the litter, but they're still pooping everywhere 😅 One of them is also spraying a lot which is kind of frustrating to deal with, but they're both booked in for their neutering soon so 🤞 that helps the poor behaviour and to speed up litter training so they can roam the rest of the house :)
I just got mine he is a Netherland dwarf bunny and is just so skittish I just got him today and he is so sweet his name is midnight and is 9 weeks old and is so small I love him so much already
My two rabbits are right now separated and are in a big walk in closet. When my brother moves out we are going to move them and free roam them in his old room. They are male and female, separated because they weren’t fixed. Male is neutered, female gets spayed July 27. When she has healed we are gonna bond them and conjoin their areas!
I want to get a rabbit and keep it in my closet, I also have a very big walk in closet. But I was wondering if it was difficult or just like they were in any other room. Would they try and chew on your clothes that would hang up? Did you have to put up any grids or something to protect your baseboards? If you still live with your parents how did you convince them to let your rabbits live in your closet?
@@ali4296 when they were babies I had them in my room in a big play pen, but as they got older, one started jumping out and jumping onto my dresser and chewing everything, so I got another playpen and moved them into the closet (2 play pens in closet, one play pen for each) the pens kept them from chewing the base boards, and I put the one that doesnt jump high near the door. It was basically like any other room, besides the cats chilling with them every once and awhile (The cats dont attack they just lay with the rabbits). Its my moms closet so we just hung the clothes on higher clothes racks. I only live with my mom, older brother, and my brothers girlfriend, so I only had to convince my mom. I just told her that as they grow they needed more space because they need to be able to run around and stuff. She knew i loved them so she let me. My brother is 20 so fingers crossed he moves out soon lol. P.S: One rabbit is more destructive than the other, so i had to put hard plastic on the floor with a few mats, where as the other one gets a blanket for floor.
This is perfect timing! I’m thinking about adopting a second rabbit (she’s around one according to the shelter)! It’s so relieving to have some tips since it’s been so long since my bun came home❤️
For my birthday (three days ago) I got my dream bunnies. I wasnt ready for this she only lived with me 3 days and i LOVED HER SO MUCH. i wasnt ready for her to leave us. you need to be ready for your rabbit to pass out beacuse i wasnt expenting her to only live with me for 3 days. It was so sad. She died today in the morning when I came to feed them. My heart was broken when I saw Nube laying down still. RIP Nube I loved her so much.
I also put one of my T-shirts in my bunny's cage when I first got her. In the morning she had pooped all over it😂 I had no reason why sincere was poddy trained.
I’ve been enjoying your channel and learning a lot about bunnies. I recently adopted a Holland Lop. I’ve been wondering why you don’t have 2 bunnies instead of 1. I thought that would be an interesting video since a lot of people think rabbits shouldn’t be “alone”. I know the bonding process can be difficult and frustrating but I’ve been thinking about getting a second bun. I’m so curious about your feedback on this subject. Thank you 🙏🏻
believe me poopy training takes a lot of effort especially if they take a liking to something my fully litter trained bunny took a liking to my white quilt now it has yellow stains on it😂😭. my favy quilt and he specially comes on the bed to pee on that quilt it takes just seconds
Cinnabon is so cute I have a bunny named Daisy and she almost just looks the same. I wish I could send you a picture. I am your biggest fan today is my first day with an inside rabbit me and daisy. Love you thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve been trying to litterbox train my rabbit for two months. Nothing is working at all and I really wanna free roam her because her pen isn’t that big but my dad won’t let me until she is litterbox trained.
i’m planning on getting a holland hop sometime soon within the next ohew months, i share a room with my sister and we have cubbies with her toys and she has a large barbie doll house, what should i do to protect the bunny from those without having to get rid of them??
I would say probably have a spray that a bunny will not like or be interested in, just google it, and just spray that where you don’t want chews, and you can also put clear tape on the furniture!
I have that same problem and as a 15-year-old that will be my first comment from my parents because I have an unused walk in closet and I’m like well. I can let them roam in there when I’m not home and then they can roam my room when my dogs aren’t in there and it’s like I’ve always wanted a bunny and I watch all of these videos, but I’m pretty sure that I won’t end up getting a bunny move out. It’s especially because I have two 100 pound dogs.
You know the litter training never worked. Have 2 , 2 year old Holland lops male and female both fixed and have been using litter box since babys . They pee in the litter box but poop everywhere else…
Personally my rabbit came from my backyard and I had to take her bc her leg has some problems so I had no preparations done so she has nothing proper just diys
Hii, I found a domestic rabbit on the sidewalk today, it’s very cold where I’m from so I went and got him. We went to the vet and he is healthy, was definitely a pet…any tips?
My bun is outdoor but he have a 2m wooden hutch which is tarped in the extreme weather and the floor is a soft blanket. I let him out to play every day for around 2 hours and we refill his food and water bowls and clean his litter everyday. I am not sure if this is appropriate for rabbits or wether I should bring my bun inside, cuz my parents don’t allow him inside. The hutch is 2 stories and the second floor is a little hides hole for him and the bottom floor is like food and litter and stuff. Unfortunately my neighbour has two cats which frequently come into our backyard but they’ve stopped since we now have a pet as well. Any suggestions?
Where i am living it required a small cage for the bunny i hope fhat is ok but just wondered can you get a small tray for them to fit in their cage? Also it has only been under 24 hours is it normal for it to bs kind of nervous i mean i did make the goof of leaving phone under the cage and it rang and i did not realise oops but will it be ok?
Hi, I have a question. I'm getting a rabbit very soon but I have a inside dog and a cat so I don't really know how to let them free roam at night and I there is alot of wires everywhere so I'm afraid they might chew on them. But I am very serious about getting a bunny but my mom and dad keep saying we will cover the wires when we get them and we will get the cage when we get them but I don't want to be handed a rabbit and have nothing for them so I don't know how to fix this because they aren't really helping and I'm afraid my cat will eat my bunny do you have tips also I know that I have to leave them alone for a day but what if their cage is in an area where everyone is. it's going to be in my living room where my family is everyday and my animals i'm worried they will be scared and they could go in my bedroom but it's too small so idk but any tips about it being in a room with alot of ppl? xx
i have a little box, haybox, waterproof rugs, extra rug, food/water bow, hide house, toys and stackable cups coming today.. and the cage (like urs) coming in 2 days🤭 I’m so excited she will be free range!!
how is it ethical to bring a wild animal into our homes without pairing them with their opposite sex? these little cute guys also go through depression and need their mate support
I just got my foster bunny yesterday and this was very helpful. Would you ever do a video on how to get our personal buns not to hate us bcuz we foster other buns.
Hi so im just asking for advice ahead of time so I plan on getting a bunny within the next month or two but I already have a cat I have heard and seen that cats and bunny's can get along but since I wanna free roam when should I introduce them after getting my bunny?
The cutest rabbit ever and you are the most articulate, clear, natural and gorgeous woman on YT I say this respectfully. I am picking up my Buns within 1-2 and your videos are so helpful.
