I just would like to thank you for the messages in your videos. They have all been enlightening and invigorating. You see, I am a struggling Ph.D. Student at Capella University. I guess I am what they call a Ph.D. All But Dissertation (ABD). I have had so many challenges in the last 6 years attempting to complete my program (divorce, finances, car accident, medical) and anxiety from life's everyday experiences.), but I refused to give up. As a Ph.D. student with Capella University, my region of study is Special Education Leadership. I accept been an educator for over 25 years and I continue to have that thrive and passion to bring positive outcomes in the lives of children that will help them to develop into productive citizens. Here is the kicker; I am also an adult diagnosed Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I always knew I was different, but I didn’t realize there was hope and assistance. I use to be ashamed of my abnormality, only I discovered that is what makes learning so unique for me and how important it is for kids to possess their unique, some call special, needs met. Although, I discovered that I was functioning different from my peers and siblings, it did not stop me from becoming an achiever, believing in my dreams and setting goals that took work and the courage to achieve. I've forever experienced a loving family that backed up my efforts to accomplish. My time is running out, I must revert to completing my dissertation or I will not be permitted to finish my PhD. The trouble is that I have run out of funds and I used my retirement finances and fiscal aid and now I do not have the finances to finish my course of study. Person fed me your site to review and I have experienced so many”Ah ha” moments with every picture. I guess what I am trying to say is I am not going to give up. I have the to faith in God and the courage to believe that with him nothing shall be impossible, if I keep believing. I will ever stay persistent in pursuing my dreams. I have been researching companies and organizations that provide grants and funding for PhD students but have not been successful. I will not give up. I have tried to contact Microsoft, Daymond John, Michael Strahan and even Derrick Rose, just to name a few, but no responses. I will continue to keep the faith. I have the faith to believe that a door will open that will provide the funds I need to complete my program and a job to pay off all the financial aide I'm in debt to. I cannot look back, its forward from here. In closing, My Bible tells me to "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to me, so if you know of any organization who would find it in their heart to invest their funds into the life of an educator who will always have the passion and drive to make a difference in any child’s life, please direct them to Capella Student ID: 122585. Great video to watch and listen. I have 3 days without going to gym, did not left home and did not eat well...I knew I had to do something, to made a move but I just couldn't do, my mind was too busy thinking It was not worthy and my body feels exhausted. Today I think different, I needed this dark time to recover my sense of purpose and recharge my life with gratitude and hope. I had reset my goals :)
