How To Swap Your BMW Interior Trim (BMW E46)

I was not a fan of the Titan Shadow interior trim on the M3, so we swapped it out for some Brushed Aluminum! It also demonstrates how to take the trim pieces off if in case you ever decide to wrap your trim pieces or paint them etc
Edit* Btw at the end it got cut off and all I said was "That's it" nothing important lol
Edit* for some reason the video seems to not play at times for some people idk why ugh
Tools Needed:
Pull/Pry Bar (Dasco is the brand im using)
Flat head Screw driver
Phillips head Screw driver
Torx T20
8mm Nut Socket
Microfiber cloth
extension to reach Nut/torx
Pliers to remove pins from clips (dash trim)

Be careful! Coupe's have different rear panels, everything is the same for the coupe and vert except the rear seat panels. What he does in the video will not work for a coupe (non convertible)

Thanks fella, a very thorough guide, like you, I had T Shadow, and also fancied the silver, but not so easy to find in good condition. So my first attempt at wrapping was an education, did it in CF, came out well. Best wishes from London

BRUUUHH !! I'd been looking for a video like this for the past THREE YEARS !! And EXACTLY a week after I figure it out and do it myself, I find this ! Haha... Great work anyways, man. Wonderfully detailed work. Hope this is helpful to E46 owners out there.

Thanks. This is a godsend. Tho to get the leather padding off the best way is to remove the entire trim and then handle off and then take the leather pad off. Let me just say it is really a pain in the backside to remove them as he states. My front ones came off ok without breaking anything but one of the rear passenger side ones I broke a pin. Doesn't effect anything but you definitely need to take your time and you need those trim removal tools.

@@RockoOmazing thanks for the encouragement haha..i just did the center/shifter piece and wrapped it (very tedious stuff.) ill do it bit by bit, the wrap i have is actually very close to the stock look so should be okay to take my time.

Justin Alfonso i would search on ebay for "e39 trim clips" or go to the dealer and have them search your vin and ask them for the interior trim clips in the parts department they should have them
