The Fontaine Serenitea Pot doesn't let you swim underwater. Here's how to do so anyways. Follow on Twitter for sneak peeks and strange finds: / moosashiden #fontaine #genshinimpact #genshin #sereniteapot
The fact that we're not even legally allowed to swim in our underwater teapot was the biggest bummer in all of Fontaine. The moment I found out, I switched back to my Mountain area because there I can at least climb the mountain.
@@Hecatolite_Even the mountain area has no hard borders, instead there is paimon barier around it and teleport zone at the bottom but at least we're free to move within that space. including almost all of the mountain, even its far side.
I was so disappointed that it was limited to a jetstream. Would it really have been so hard to just create a big bubble barrier around the teapot areas and let us swim?
They did this but instead of swim wall it’s an invisible wall They could have atleast re-done the Fontaine Research Institute cubes but in reverse, if a sphere is this hard to do
The fact that there is not an insland submerged in water like in Melusine underwater and we are not free to swim between islands is such a let down, I was seriously disappointed
Really disappointed that we aren't allowed to swim in the UNDERWATER serenitea pot theme. Hopefully, miHoYo will eventually add an option to submerge sections so we can actually have some diving fun, and we could get those underwater abodes alongside that. But this is really sad. Also, I can't help but wonder why they set up a Paimon Barrier instead of a teleport zone. That makes it seem like miHoYo might expand the serenitea pot themes in size eventually. I suppose it could be default logic for them, since they're on separate maps, but still, the same goes for domains, and Paimon can't even appear in most of them.
Not being able to swim makes it feel a lot more sad and isolated since on others we can glide from island to island, but here each one is like its own… tank kinda
I kinda dont understand them. They created teapot for other content in genshin yet limits it lol. In still waiting for a plain pond so i can enjoy teapot better (i love architecture)
@@PyramidsofGiza369 exactly, like hoyo acts like putting a basic pond or river in the buildable area will completely break teapot as if every other viral build doesn't already include water (by breaking teapot). Now we can glitch our builds underwater and all the furnishings work fine, animals work fine, companions work fine, so why did they try so hard to make it so we can't build underwater? Do they want building to be this hard?? 😭 To an extent, I can understand the idea behind load limit as annoying as it is, but the way it's actually executed is completely arbitrary when you start comparing items (e.g not all crystalflies have the same load).
@@notebookofmath Just goes to show that they love their other games more. More than Genshin. Middle child syndrome hit genshin hard with this. Hoyo just pours more and more on to their 'Honkai' games. Quite irritating. I play all three games (HSR, HI3, and Genshin), and yet I'm so frustrated at how they treat Genshin. I played Genshin since 1.1 version. Sure, the open world thing is a bonus, but the quality-of-life change requests from players of Genshin is just blatantly ignored. Just remembering that 1Star review in Google Play makes me want to make it an example. Unless chinese server doesn't complain, they don't do anything, and won't even listen to complaints from other servers. I love the game (Genshin), but I hate how hoyo treats the game and treats those who play this specific game. It's just so frustrating.
@@Froggycolouring And also the most loyal follower of Lucifer (aka the Latin name for the morning appearances of the planet Venus. It corresponds to the Greek names Phosphorus Φωσφόρος, "light-bringer"). The Traveler was cast down from heaven just as Lucifer was by God.
I more meant it in comparison to "Paimon barrier," which sounds much less unsettling than the other two. Also I find the name Paimon without context quite cute. But yes, combined with the name's actual origin and (Genshin) Paimon's contrasting character it sounds really sinister
I think “Paimon Ceiling” is the scariest of them all… like, why am I genuinely a tiny bit scared hearing that phrase, especially in comparison to the other two?
I also wished that there would be at least one area completely underwater so we’d be able to have an Atlantis like build just for fun since it’d be unique but NOPE
The moment I saw you discovered a paimon *ceiling* was something I would've never expected, still absolutely incredible you manage to figure out how to break out of the wall barrier XD
its very funny because we never had any paimon ceiling ever. there's a lot of bugs that fling you up to the sky, and i bet there's still one right now, even hitting the bit limit and models go stretched out like crazy, but it doesnt hit paimon
I thought fontaine teapot would be 1-2 island inland and 2-4 island underwater. And then when it came out, you cant even swim freely. It was more disappointing than i thought, i immediately went back to cool isle.
I still don't understand why it's so limited, like you can't even explore the islands fully. One of the reasons I like the mountain teapot is because if I want to I can go to the top of it. But here you can't even go to the borders.
the fact that we can't actually swim in our teapot and the ugly dark blue hazy outer water rather than like in game makes me absolutely hate this realm it is painful looking at it once I'm done building in it just to have filled I'm never going back in it as a teapot enthusiast I am utterly disappointed with this travesty🤮
I was horrified too with the paimon ceiling and floor being a thing I prefer a way to just put a damn teleport under the floor and just go from there it's easy and works every time With that method you can build underground very easily as long as it's floating platform compatible Or zhongli pillar works to get out
I can't believe they made a Paimon barrier on the area where they didn't even let You go to. It's like they are looking at You specifically. "Hey, Moosashi, take this. You are swimming >out of bounds
I was really hoping it would be like a sieries of islands maybe even or like one small surface island and then a huge underwater (freely swimming) oasis beneath, AS WELL as being able to decorate said underwater area.
I'm really happy you're covering some teapot glitches, love your videos! This realm is being a huge letdown for me and other teapot enjoyers... there's really nice ponds that are outside the area where you can build in, which is especially nonsensical for the one you can raise fish in (it's the furthest away), there's no day/night cycle so it's a floating abode number 2, the eternal night time doesn't even actually look like night time with how saturated the blue color looks. Not to mention, frankly i'm not too big a fan of *having to* click multi-select to create a set, and how it invalidates some floated furnishings... I wonder if it'll open up the possibility for new glitches though!
As someone who loves your videos, OOB, and does some teapot research, it makes me very happy to see you share this and find the same things we did. We actually go past the barrier using teapot building techniques (glitches), so I didn't know about this way to get out ! ♪(´▽`)
when i realized exterior 2 didnt unlock the swimming area i was so sad so i took matters in my own hands and used yelan to somehow get outside of the barrier and swim
Doesn’t work for me, it keeps doing the circle thing before I can reach the point where I should theoretically reconnect my internet and spawns me at the entrance of the current 😢
I just realized- Paimon is probably the warden and we’re the prisoner in Teyvat. She isn’t really our “guide” but instead the one that ensures that we keep travelling and don’t try to escape
Wait so are the Paimon ceiling and floor there to prevent us from reaching Celestia/Abyss? Does the tea pot have powers that you can teleport out anywhere you want including those places? Maybe that's why the barriers are there.
Every time I place a collection on the first island (then save) I will spawn outside the barrier inside the water. Weird glitch but this is the easiest barrier to get through in the game. Play with controller on a PC.
UPDATE: I FOUND IT! Read below for how to get to the Book of Revealing "???" area from out of bounds Hi Moosashi I was exploring out of bounds and discovered something interesting. You can glide into the place you unlock from the Book of Revealing quest. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact route I took because I wasn't paying much attention, but I was trying to head towards Romaritime Harbor. Somewhere near the boss area, I fell out of the water and got stuck gliding. I decided to glide towards the harbor, and suddenly I was inside of that place. Once you glide farther in, Paimon says something along the lines of "stay away from that!" and you get teleported to the start of the area. It was completely invisible from the outside so I still haven't found it again. I don't know if it'll work for people who haven't completed the quest, but it could be fun to try. If you try, avoid "Nice to Meet You" like the plague and look around the aquabus line near the boss there, that's all the advice I have currently If you or anyone else can find it again, I think it would be great! I'll update this comment with an exact route if I find it because I'm still trying to get back to it. UPDATE: Once you get to the boss, you'll have to start gliding. Glide towards the harbor. The place you need to go to is near the aquabus line and above Denouncement of Sin. There's a small green island above Denouncement of Sin, you need to get above that so that you're on top of the beach directly above it on the map. Once you get there, stop gliding and just fall. You'll suddenly be in the area after a few seconds of falling if you did it right. Then you can glide farther in and let yourself fall again, and you should be teleported to the start of the area. Tip: bring stamina restoration and gliding stamina food, and characters who reduce gliding stamina usage or who can restore stamina in the air like Xiao. Gadgets could also help. Even with max stamina and gliding stamina reduction, you'll probably still run out of stamina
I havent try the new underwater theme serenity pot but seeing this I am deeply disappointed and sad. And there's even a Paimon Barrier like whaaaat Hoyo hates us. 😢
