You're right about the hockey puck feeling. I played in the Red Wing's golf outing in Michigan lots of times and each group had one of the hockey players. Some were scratch golfers but even the ones that seldom played golf could absolutely crush a golf ball off the tee. Might not be straight but very long

Love the content. As a lifelong hockey player turned golfer let ne just caution on the hips getting very quick. This can leave the club behind thus causing a flip. Just in case you notice the ball heading left.

Jimmy, i know I asked you before but could you do a video on preventing fat shots? My game has really improved watching your videos but these fat shots are ruining my game. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

My son-n-law is a hockey player (AHL at the moment). He can “slap shot” a club too. May I suggest a two or three finger grip with the right hand (thumb, index, middle finger) as apposed to a full right-hand grip with the drill? May help some viewers having a little more touch/feel than an axe grip. On another note, I appreciate your videos! I’ve got great friends that have been golfing a lot longer than I. Would love to golf with you and Manolo sometime with some of my friends. (we’re from Colorado, but enjoy good cigars, kinship, and competition). Your videos remind me of us…kudos!

I tried the slap shot approach today. Didn't work too well for me. Just couldn't get around fast enough. I will try some other of Jimmy's tips. Something has gotta work.
