@@kentioyes this is true. But it’s good to use a variation like direct links to a product, links to blogs, landing pages, don’t just do direct links to products all the time cause Pinterest doesn’t like it if you just do that
As soon as I was searching a video about affiliate marketing promotion, I watched your video about Pinterest tagging product. Really it's is amazing, excellent and informative video with great explained ❤ Then I have subscribed your channel.
This was the most easily explained affiliate marketing I've seen so far straight to the point I really like it I think this one's going to do well thank you
This video is showing you how to make money on Pinterest, meanwhile the creator is making money off of their impact affiliate link. There is no proof that the creator of this video actually made money from using impact. Be careful folks and remember, no one will ever sell you a course that can make you X number of dollars daily for the low low low price of X. The most lucrative way to make money on the internet is to sell courses on how to make money
Thankyou katie I have been looking for so many videos on the same topic and finally i got a quality content thankyou for this b/w you deserve more sub❤
Thanks for this presentation. Easy to follow and digest the information and it comes across that you are quite knowledgable. I will definitely be following your page.
Omg your are amazing! i didnt know impact.. always people ads to online places which needs to get membership and pay.. we also need to apply from another companies. impact made all easier way to do. thanks! just subscribed to your chanel! Amazing videos and clear explaination. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much for this helpful video! My question: how can I tag many amazon affiliate products right on the pin? Do I have to have a verified website?
I tried this and my account was suspended immediately. They reactivated my account, but all of my links were gone. I'm not sure if it's a great idea to add affiliate links. Does anyone else have this problem?
I heard posting affiliate links right on your pins, will get you banned. So I made a link tree, converted those affiliate links to tinyurls, posted them on the link tree, and linked the link tree to all my organic made Pinterest posts. Within a week, link tree banned my account with them. Pinterest was unaffected.
Katie came across your site tonight about ointerest marketing and its the best at explaining I have ever seen.. im with impact already but have never known properly how to use the social media platforms as they have never explained for them all.. But this video is amazing and cant wait to learn more.. one thing wanted to ask is when i add the url to the created pin and then it wont show the little tag bit ..but maybe becuase it says the image isint the right size? but. im sure i will figure it out.. thanks again so much for this great info..
Wow! This is a great video that is easy to follow and understand! I have been looking everywhere for a step-by-step video on how to do this and you explained all I needed to know. Thank you so much!!
So I put it in the description but you could also do it in the title. Actually, every country basically has different rules. I believe the key is that you're not actively hiding the disclaimer but it's easy for people to see "oh ok - this is and ad or affiliate link". So I use hashtags #ad or #affiliate
I don't have the 3 icons you show on the left of your image to select 'tag products' I just have one edit pencil icon at the top right. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Katie, great tutorial, you have a very good knowledge of Ecommerce and Marketing and of course Pinterest. one question, can I include/tag a direct amazon affiliate link directly into a pin ( via shop tag) does Pinterest allow that, and has the product to be in the Pin Image? Again thank you 😃
Katie, thank you, but it's difficult to sign up to Impact from Switzerland as you are asked a VAT number and in CH we don't have one up to 100.000 CHF earnings
I have a business account, amazon associate affiliate link but when I create a pin I don't have the product tag icon. I went to the Pinterest Help page - "It looks like you're reading this from a web browser. At the moment, you'll need to use your phone to tag products in your Pins." Is creating pins with tags restricted for some countries? I can't figure out why I don't have the tag icon available.
Hello, and thanks for an amazing video just wanted to ask do we create the tag product board ourselves or is it done automatically by Pinterest once you tag products?
gotta make your own boards. i recommend creating pins and saving other (non-competing) pins from different creators to your boards. This helps increase your visibility to different people's interests on the platform.
Thank you for the relevant video. Just one question. Is it really a must to have a blog post link? What does it do in connection to the affiliate links? Thank you in advance😁
Thanks for this video Katie. Do you need to own a Blog? I know amazon associates require you to have an active blog. If not needed then it's awesome and I'm gonna apply with them right away! Thanks
Hi. So i am a guy. However Id like to say thank you. That was in fact very helpfull. I will rerun this video several times and apply it to my "struggle to get going on Pinterest" It has been more than a week watching videos that makes no sense. Giving me nothing but aggrevation. Can i add more than 2 links per pin or is that considered spammy? Im having a hard time creating my own pins. Do you have any suggestions on that?
I have created a Pinterest business account, I usually post female actress pictures and reels and I usually copy image and videos from Instagram and upload it to Pinterest as a pin. I don't have any own website or landing page. How can I join affiliate marketing program?
So you can add your affiliate link as the regular link of the pin inside Tailwind. But you can't tag multiple affiliate pins straight inside Tailwind. Would be great though.
@@KatieGrazer Thank you Katie. Yes I agree that would be a great feature for Tailwind. Are you planning to make a video about how to use new tailwind interface? any soon? - Thanks in advance
Hey, Katie! I have a doubt. I can see that instead of linking to an actual blog post about "summer guide must haves," you just created a pin and tagged the products (also you linked to your homepage). Will Pinterest consider this type of pinning as spam? (because you are not linking to an actual blog post wherein you talk about the "summer must haves" but just tagging the products." The reason I am curious is because I have a blog where I write about tiny home living, minimalism, etc. I am just thinking about how to incorporate your strategy. Should I write about tiny home must haves as blog posts and tag products from impact? Or just create pins, tag affiliate products and just link to my homepage as you did? Please clarify!
Hey there, sorry about the confusion. I don’t have a blog about fashion & beauty so this is just an example. So I would definitely link to the blogpost and not the homepage (so the gift guide pin to the blog post and the product pin to the individual affiliate products)
@@KatieGrazer Great! How often can I tag products? Say for example, if I create 10 pins for an article titled, "15 tiny home garden ideas", is it ok to grab some gardening supplies affiliate links from Impact and tag them to all the 10 pins?. Also, say for example, if I write a blog post on how to convert a shed into a tiny house, is it accepted to tag some related products to the pins that I create for the post?
@@aruvel77 To be honest, Pinterest doesn't give out specific numbers for things like that. So I would make it natural and not create too many similar pins with affiliate links simultaneously. Your pins get distributed to your followers first, and if they see 10 pins on the same day that are too similar and include the same links, it could come across as spam. I would spread out your pins over a few weeks. Then linking to the same affiliate products is OK. Concerning related affiliate products, that should be fine as well.
RU-vid recommended: I watched, I liked and I Subscribed. Will this also work with amazon? And why have you not put the link on the main pin (guided one)?
Ahh thank you so much! I really appreciate it :) So in the first example the affiliate link is in the tagged product. This way you can add multiple affiliate products with different links.
Hi, Katie Can you please direct me to more information about navigating the impact Market place? I'm going around in circles and don't see any of the brand options or products to tag. Just an empty back office. Thanks for any light on the subject.
I tried tagging products via the first method, using my amazon associate link and it won't let me post the pin. It says "You can only tag images linking to your claimed website." Any suggestions or advice?
Nope it's ok. This is what they say: Yes! We support affiliate links from affiliate networks and programs like Amazon Associates, ShopStyle Collective, LTK (formerly rewardStyle + LIKEtoKNOW.it ) and Rakuten Advertising. However, please keep in mind that not all affiliate programs are supported at this time. ... Our team is working to enable links from all major affiliate networks, stay tuned! community.pinterest.biz/t5/articles/announcing-product-tagging-and-affiliate-partnerships-on/ta-p/21282
Hi! thank you for sharing this very useful tips! I have just one issue, I can't see tagged items below pin as you have (on 8:21 in your video). Do you have idea why? So how can custemers can see and click to product link. Thanks!
Hey Katie! How can we promote particular product from impact if the brand does not have products listed on assets tab? Do I need to go to their website to get one? But I am afraid those are not affiliate links and not linked to impact
how do we do this if we have a business account on Pinterest but we don't have a website for the destination link? can we use the affiliate tag link as the destination link?
he i followed the steps from your vid but now i get this warning "You can only tag images linking to your claimed website" how can i fix this? Great vid!!
