Yeah you should get those messages because you're just turning your internet access off in a way, it shouldn't affect the texts I've always gotten them so yeah you should too.

Hey, sorry for the delayed response, but have to tried maybe updating it? There must be some glitch because usually when you turn off the data or wifi you aren't supposed to get any network for WhatsApp whatsoever.

I usually go back in a week or so. You can visit every once in a while if you can because i don't know about that deactivation thing so yeah also i usually get this notification all the time that WhatsApp don't have access to your internet and it needs that to work properly which is kind of annoying so i end up allowing internet access since i don't always turn the notifications off.

No, if you're doing this it'll only cut off the access to internet for some time unless you uninstall watsapp without backing up chats they won't be deleted.

Most of the times you can disable data options for an app so maybe try it in the app info options or app manager settings, you just need to find it maybe it is with some other name but the option should be there

Yes it's basically just denying internet access to watsapp for sometime and when you allow the data usage for the app again you'll get the messages that were send to you in that time.

@@sivanaginiksk2958 for that you would need to delete your number in their phone personally because there isn't an option for that or what you can do is turn off read receipts so they won't know you've read a message even if you do, and maybe not reply and they'll stop sending messages altogether when there are no replies.

You can turn on or off the data for individual app through "mobile data only apps" option which you'll see in the mobile data settings under "data usage"

Go to settings and then in app management allow data usage for WhatsApp you'll start receiving the messages that were sent during the time you disabled mobile data.

@@abdullahalwaheed2527 did you hide the app, because if you did it won't show in the app list, in that case go to settings then privacy first, in that you'll find the hide apps option if you have a password dial it and you'll be able to unhide WhatsApp from there.

@@abdullahalwaheed2527 or another thing you can do is search for WhatsApp in the search bar for apps. Not in settings but in your home screen search bar where all the apps are shown.
