Thanks so much Jason - your tip to press the decrease volume button and the power button on a Pixel phone to take a screenshot was so helpful! Much appreciated 👍
I appreciate all the cool detailed info on variety of phones for screenshot. Mine screenshots fine, my problem is for years I could click the camera and take a picture, but the last year or so suddenly it forces me to click record in order to access the camera button and even using the camera it still is recording. So I'm wasting memory and whatnot recording when I never wanted to record to begin with, just take a picture with the camera button. My phone says it's a LG Stylo 5. It might have started when I was forced to get this phone, as the previous ones battery stopped charging or holding a charge, it was a 3g and they had been constantly bugging me to upgrade to 5g, saying 3G was going to stop working, I heard that for like 5 years with that phone, so when I started having charging issues I went ahead and got basically the same phone but 5g and shortly after that I noticed the not being able to simply take a picture new feature.
I just upgraded from a Samsung S21 to S24. On the S21 screenshots were taken by pressing buttons. That didn't work on the S24. Your video clued me into the hand swipe. Thanks.
Excellent! It WORKED!! YOU SHOULD TEACH PROFESSIONALLY, you might be one.. What do I know. Anyway, I'm thrilled. You didn't mess it up with Computer Genius Speak. It was really easy to understand. It also explains why I have screenshots that I didn't plan. The wake-up button and volume down are right where I hold my phone. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I thought it didn't work on my device, either. Try checking your Photo Gallery, anyway. Sure enough, when I looked, there were TWO screenshots waiting for me. THE OTHER PHONE/VERSION WAS A LOT BETTER. You could simply minimize the screen, and mash an actual button entitled SCREENSHOT. Fine. It's. Fine. Seriously, thanks thank very much for your video. Have a good day!
It's not in the pull-down menu like in my old Android phone. I appreciate your advice it did not however work for me. I think I may have to buy a new phone if I want to take screenshot. What a bummer after spending nearly $500.
I have a Samsung a15 and it does not work the way you described it I tapped the on-off button once very quickly and it just shut the phone off so do you have any other suggestions
It works. It worked out on my realme x7 max this helped a lot. I came like exactly how you showed to do it in Samsung galaxy the same way I tried the same way it came, thanks a lot 😊😊😊😊😊but sometimes I press both the buttons but it seems to not work properly that's what is annoying l get so annoyed 😠😠😠😠😠 lts so useful.Thank you ❤❤❤
Chances are you aren't pressing both buttons at the same exact time. It's tricky because you have to use both hands to complete the maneuver. Just keep trying. Your timing will improve.
