How to take apart/disassemble SONY Vaio E Series SVE151A11W laptop 

hi maybe anyone knows if this is still worth to use today? I have this same brand and type of laptop which was from my cousin way back and it is not opening right now, is it still worth my money to repair this? can this device be upgraded to latest windows or like windows 8?
