Be sure to disinfect your tools between cuts to prevent the spread of disease. 2.Choose a new pot that is slightly larger than the current one and ensure it has drainage holes at the bottom. Prepare fresh, well-draining potting mix suitable for your Birkin plant (a mix of peat moss, perlite, and coarse sand or orchid bark can work well). Repot the plant.
