How to take care of Tizip zipper in SANTI dry suit? 

Who cares about drysuit zippers? We do and you should too. Short tutorial how to take care of the dry zipper used in Santi drysuits.
Washing:
• Always rinse the zipper with fresh water after dive (shower, bottled water etc.) on the dive site, boat or straight after returning home after dives. A little soapy water is also recommended. Do not use strong detergents.
• Wash the zipper from outside, on the sides and inside along the zipper
• Clean zipper with soft toothbrush outside, on the side and inside along the zipper
Drying:
• Dry with water absorbing cloth, towel and then a hair dryer (if possible)
• While using hair dryer remember to do it from a distance using cold air blow
• Dry every gap including under pleat (cover zipper)
Storage:
• Use wide hanger to hang the drysuit
• Leave the dry zipper open while drying and storage. You can close the cover zipper
• Store hanged in: room temperature, low humidity, dark room with no sun light.
• Avoid storing in a closed, humid box or drysuit bag
Lubricate:
• Use a lubricant recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use any other substance or grease.
• Use lubricant every time before the dive when suit is dry. Do not apply it for storage. Dirt can stick to it.
• Apply lubricant only at docking end: outside, on the sides and inside. Do not apply it on the zipper teeth.
Failure to follow the instructions may cause zipper damage and will void the warranty.
