Phantom Rides Its +250gm, anything above 250Gm (micro) requires license. Spark is in micro category. uavcoach.com/drone-laws-in-india/ You know how to self register? Any link I could use to do self registration?
Hey bro. Nice video and tips. I have a few questions for you. I hope you take out the time to answer them: 1. Have you ever traveled with your drone via flight? 2. If yes, what are the precautions should be taken? 3. Can you please share the title of the track you've used towards the end of this video? Thanks in advance.
I found it easier to use waypoint mode on my Mavic Pro. I created waypoints by flying the drone backwards. After creating the route I returned drone to the starting point and activated the replay of the route. Then I simply followed it on my motorcycle and adjusted the speed so I was in the shot the whole time. This has proven to be much more reliable than using the autotrack feature.
Mate, great video. I have the spark too, and always wanted to active track myself on the motorbike, but finding a road without telegraph wires and trees to obstruct the path is difficult. This private road and this spot was perfect.
Thanks mate! Unfortunately it only follows or can fly backwards but not sideways. Guess I can do that manually but then I won't be able to ride like that.
Alright this happened to me in kashmir. Now the drone here promoted max distance reached. Theoretically it should come to you. But somehow my drone thought i am making it go further. But instead i was calling it back. It wouldn't come to me, promoting max distance reached. You have any idea about what went wrong? Imagine if the drone was on top of a river or a valley.
Foreigners are currently not allowed to fly drones in India. For commercial purpose, they need to lease the drone to an Indian entity who in-turn will obtain Unique Identification Number (UIN) and UAOP from DGCA. So does that mean tourists cannot bring a spark to India .
Nice Cinematic Shots bro.. The Fly By Tracking was Amazing. But what if you speed up your bike ? And the 500mtr limit is exceeded? Will it stop or crash ?
Thanks a lot bro! I was able to extend the range up to 2 km now by updating the software. But if it loses tracking or reached the limit, it just stops and hovers for a while and if no input, then it will return to the take off point and auto land or even land where it is depending on battery charge
It hurts me seeing the drone takeoff on a very dusty ground. That can cause damage to the motors. Try to make your spark takeoff on your palm if the ground is sandy or dusty and land it bakc on your hand. The dust and sand can really cause damage overtime. Happy flying!
Great tips ...i do try to make some drones videos..checkout my channel if you have time, i mostly travel around south India and try to capture the best i can. Keep making videos
