Little more in depth look at my firewood process from log form to bulk firewood bags set to dry. Through the years I have refined this system and will do more in the future I'm sure. The goal is to make the highest quality firewood I can as efficiently as possible. This current system is from what I have learned in the last four years running a small firewood business. Hopefully it will give some ideas OR you may have suggestions for me to improve my system as well.

Agreed, it's always being refined as I find the bottle necks.

You're got a nice process figured out there Tim! Is the elevator/conveyer new? I don't recall seeing that before, and it looks brand new. I don't think that you "ramble" at all. I enjoy hearing your descriptions etc.. Also, I'm curious to see how the wood that's been going in the bags turns out. I've read or saw on someone's RU-vid channel that they either had, or were concerned about the wood getting mold with some of the bags that aren't vented on all four sides. Any input on that part of it? Another good video Tim!

I've had good luck with these bags. Used them this past season and no issues. Dries better than stacked I think. The conveyor is about a month old. You may have missed that video, but I did do a couple using it so far. It's a real time saver for filling the bags, just push slips off the end, no throwing up into the bag.

I dig your set up Tim! What do you do when you put a log on the table and it doesn’t line up with the edge of the table? Smaller logs you could scoot into alignment but there’s no scooting in the one you had on there.

Usually try to line up one side, but otherwise I cut it off even with the edge then continue down the line. If it's longer than 16" hanging over I'll cut 16" off, then even. If I cut the logs, I try to cut at 8ft so it is even with both ends
